Career Planner Test ResultsI carried out a test from a website called Prospects which asked me a set of questions that were able to calculate different jobs I could be most suited to in my career path. My top match with 91% was a Sport and exercise Psychologist.

I feel that this is appropriate to my characteristics as I am very keen in sports and played many through out my high school career, I also take great interest in sports in the outside world and like to attend as a spectator to many events within the UK such as Wimbledon and The Common Wealth Games. One of the main skills they have stated in the profile is an interest in sports which I clearly have. As it is a psychologist job role I believe this is suited to me also as I am a considerate person and care and would like to understand how people are feeling. I am a motivated person and always like to ensure that people are realising how great they are and what skills they have. I feel as this job can be an idea to look more into as I would be interested in related psychology and sports such as helping athletes dealing with injuries or setbacks. Other skills which the profile has stated which I believe are like my own are, active listening and reflection skills and decision – making ability. Overall, I believe this career path is something I should consider in my final 2 years of education.

I have scored a percentage score of 90% in a job role titled Product manager. I feel this could be a job which I could be suited to as it relates to my degree and is an idea which I have an interest in. Being a product manager, I would be able to work the manufacturers of a product, the people who receive the product and if it is up to the highest standard possible. The type of products I could come across in this industry are technical products such as apps and games, ranging to manufactured products such as appliances and toys. Some responsibilities that I would have to carry out are managing budgets, plan new features or changes to a product and learn about the products market. Learning about a

products market is an area which I take high interest in as I am continuing my 3rd year in University focused on marketing. Skills which are required of a product manager are good at persuasion and negotiation, fair and objective when making decisions and can show a good knowledge about the product. I believe that I have skills in all these areas and I especially take interest in technical products such as games and apps as I believe I have a great deal of background knowledge on them. At this time, I may not be too wary of this job but it is definitely an area of work which I will look into in the upcoming future.
