To our highly regarded RMEF Family and Friends,

The RMEF has protected/enhanced more than 7.4M acres since its inception 35 years ago.Over 1.2M acres have been opened/secured for public access for hunting and outdoorrecreation. Thanks to the commitment of 234,000+ members, the RMEF has successfullycompleted 11,818 land protection, habitat stewardship, elk restoration, conservationeducation, and hunting heritage projects.

Last May, the RMEF awarded $212,707 in grant funding for 16 projects here in Colorado,making a total of $173M and 758 projects that have protected/enhanced 460,003 acres ofhabitat and opened/secured public access to 120,982 acres in our own State. Your supportenables this success!

To further our mission - to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and ourhunting heritage - the Denver Mile High Chapter invites you to join us for our 22ndAnnual Big Game Banquet and Fundraising event on Saturday, May 11th (note the changein date from our previous announcement).

This year, the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel will provide the venue for great foodand fellowship, fantastic merchandise, awesome firearms, premium hunts and adventures,exciting raffles for wonderful prizes, and our always-invigorating Silent and Live auctions! We’ll also have activities for our young members, with chances to win super prizes. Doorsopen at 4:30pm for this energizing evening.

We’re putting a bit more challenge back into our Silent Auction (at your request) – biddingwith old-fashioned pen and paper, so get ready to beat the clock for that special item youcan’t live without!
