Dates to Remember

CHURCH WIDE Crossroads to host the Mid-South Baptist Association's Annual Celebration, tomorrow evening, October 16, 6:45-8:00 PM. "One in Christ" will be the theme as we link our hearts and hands for a time of worship led by Dr. Jim Whitmire and a time of biblical inspiration delivered by Dr. Bartholomew Orr, Pastor of Brown Missionary Baptist Church. A dessert fellowship will follow the service. You will not want to miss this special celebration, prayer and challenge!

Join us at the Memphis Union Mission, 383 Poplar, Thursday, October 19, as we serve the many homeless men who will be there that night. We’ll provide a meal and a chapel service. If you can help us serve food, please arrive by 4:45 PM. If you can join us for the chapel service, please arrive by 6:00 PM. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity!

Mark your calendar for breakfast and Next Steps, Sunday, October 29. Breakfast will be served 8:30-9:00 AM followed by a time in the Sanctuary for all members and visitors. Adult, Youth, and Children's Sunday School classes will be in the sanctuary. (Childcare will be provided for birth through K-4.)

This will be a special introduction to Crossroads' “Next Steps.” Our Pastor will present a synopsis of Crossroads Purpose, Passion, and Vision for the future: to know Him and make Him known and to become a church where every member is a minster, effectively impacting the Kingdom of God. Whether a Crossroads founding member, first-time attender, or somewhere in between, you will not want to miss this vital, informative day at Crossroads!

Operation Christmas Child’s Shoebox Ministry begins next Sunday, October 22! Don't miss out on the opportunity to share the joy of Christmas with a child in need! Pick-up and fill a "shoe" box! Boxes and instructions will be available in the Narthex next week. If possible, we ask that you include $7 to cover shipping. Please fill your box(es) and bring them back to the church before Wednesday, November 15. If you prefer to donate items rather than filling a box,

we will accept loose items that can fit inside of a shoebox. If you’d like to make a donation to help cover the cost of shipping the boxes, you can make a donation to the church and designate Operation Shoebox on your envelope.

FAMILY WEDNESDAYS Family Wednesday activities resume this week with dinner at 4:45-5:45 PM, Prayer Meeting, Awana, and Bible Studies at 6:00 PM, Youth Bible Study at 6:15 PM, TBS (College and Career Bible Study) and Choir Rehearsal at 7:00 PM.
