asylum seeker? • What are the benefits of migrant workers, for both
the source and the home country? • How does development relate to migration? • What should the United States do about the
increasing number of global migrants?
The chart shows refugees per capita across several countries using data from the UN High Commission on Refugees, or UNHCR. To be clear, these are not absolute numbers of refugees – there are actually more refugees in Turkey than in Lebanon, but the latter has a smaller population.
