The tragic Friday of 2011

It was April 22, 2011 and a lot was going on this day, the students at Philomath Middle School had an extremely busy day. The honor role assembly was this day along with the 3rd quarter passport party. After going to the honor role assembly there were a few kids headed to the hospital, they had gotten tripped walking down to get their awards. The counselor at Philomath Middle School was in charge of the passport party, and in the morning announcements he prepared us to get wet.. There were many girls who decided to wear dresses that day, which was a problem. As many of them hurried to change into our P.E. Clothes the halls had water on the floor, 3 more girls are now in the hospital. As the rest of the people headed out to the black top, carefully, everyone was prepared. There were groups of six students lined up behind a bucket of water with a sponge. The object was to fill the cup as fast as you could with the water from the sponge. The first group that won included, Andi, Ashley, Dani, Jenna, Megan, and Mitchell.A water fight began, as Megan and Dani fought with the bucket, Megan ended up soaked! Many girls and boys ended up with hypothermia, back to the hospital. Overall it was a pretty decent day... for those who didn't end up in the hospital... or dead! R.I.P. Andi
