    Steps to access DLP for Microsoft Partners

    for the first time

    Please contact [email protected] if your access to DLP fails or if any of the steps describedbelow does not match with what you see on your screen. Please make sure to provide screenshots of

    the errors you encountered.

    Important Note

    Before you start, click on the link listed on the table below pertaining to your country to watch a short

    video (approx. 7-8 minutes) to clearly understand the DLP access process you must follow. During this

    process, you will be asked to restart your computer.

    It is strongly recommended that you perform these steps by using Windows and Internet Explorer or

    Microsoft Edge.

    During this process, you will be asked to restart your computer. 

    1.  You have received an automatic e-mail from IT MBS Support ([email protected]) with the

    subject titled “Microsoft Dynamics PartnerSource Invitation”. This screenshot below is for

    illustration purposes only to show you what the e-mail body text looks like. The link used in the

    screenshot is fictitious. You need to use the URL link that is included in the e-mail you have

    received.

    2.  Copy the URL link included in the e-mail from IT MBS Support and paste it in a Notepad or in a

    Word document.

    3.  Save the file on your desktop.

    4.  Close any opened browsers.

    5.  Make sure that you are not logged on to any other Microsoft Accounts during this process such as

    outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com.

    6. 

    Clean your cache as follows:

    In Internet Explorer In Microsoft Edge

    a) 

    Open Internet Explorer 

    b)  Click Safety (or use CTRL+Shift+Del) 

    c)  Select Delete browsing history… 

    d)  Checkmark the following two items and click

    Delete 

    a) 

    Open Microsoft Edge 

    b)  Click the horizontal ellipsis … located

    at the top right hand side

    c)  Click Settings 

    d) 

    Click Choose what to clear

    e)  Wait until you get a message stating that IE

    has finished deleting the selected browsing

    historyf)  Proceed to step 7 

    e) 

    Checkmark the following items and

    click Clear 

    f) 

    Wait until you get a message stating

    that MS Edge has finished deletingthe selected browsing history

    g)  Proceed to step 7 

    7.  Restart your computer

    8.  Open an InPrivate Browsing session/window as follows:

    In Internet Explorer In Microsoft Edge

    a)  Open Internet Explorer 

    b)  Click Tools 

    c) 

    Select InPrivate Browsing

    d)  Proceed to step 9 

    a)  Open Microsoft Edge 

    b)  Click the horizontal ellipsis … located

    at the top right hand side

    c) 

    Select New InPrivate window 

    d)  Proceed to step 9 

    9. 

    Open the Notepad or Word file that you saved on your desktop

    Copy the URL link

    11. 

    Paste it in the InPrivate Browsing window.

    Note: if you are using Edge, select Keep going in Microsoft Edge 

    12. You will be prompted with the following Sign In page. Make sure to select Microsoft Dynamics

    Customers and Partners.

    13. You will be prompted with the Microsoft Sign In page.

    14. Sign in using your MS account that you provide us with such as Hotmail.com, live.com,

    outlook.com.

    15. After you have completed the sign in, you will be prompted with the following Thank You message.

    Important note: If you get the “This Account Is Already Associated” message instead, please proceed also with

    step # 16. 

    16. Open a new window in InPrivate Browsing. 

    17. Copy this link https://mbspartner.microsoft.com/landing and paste it in the InPrivate Browsing

    window.

    18. 

    You will be prompted with the DLP Welcome Page.

    19. 

    Select Microsoft Dynamics Partners 

    20. 

    You will be prompted again with the same Sign In page as described above in Figure 1.1: MicrosoftDynamics Extranet Login Page 

    21. Select Microsoft Dynamics Customers and Partners 

    22. You will be prompted again with the Microsoft Sign In page.

    23. Sign in using your MS account.

    24. 

    You will now be prompted with the DLP Profile page.

    25. 

    Fill out the required fields. This is only required on your first visit to DLP. Select Students under Rolefield and add “CRM Academy 2016 – (add your country name)” under Company field. 

    26. Checkmark I Accept the Terms Of Use.

    27. Click Save & Continue. 

    28. You will be prompted with DLP Home Page and you are now ready to consume any training asset!

    29. Add the link to your favorites to help you access DLP on your next visit to the portal.
