Instructions for adding the Academic Honesty Tutorial package into Course Tools in Blackboard

1. Click on the link below to download the A ca d e m i c H o n esty T u t o r i al A sses s m e n t Package zip file.http://media.georgebrown.ca/SLAS/Academic Honesty/AcademicHonestyAssessment.zip

A warning screen will appear, click “Ok” to download file:

2. You can see the downloaded zip folder at the bottom left of the internet screen. This file will be downloaded to your default “Download” folder or to a folder location you choose.

3. Follow the steps below to import the Academic Honesty Tutorial Package.

A) Login to BlackboardB) Choose a course into which you want to import the Academic Honesty TutorialC) Under Course Management expend Course Tools then click Tests, Surveys, and Pools

4. Click on Tests

5. Click Import Test

6. Click Browse My Computer icon then select the file you downloaded in Step 1. Then Click Submit.

a. lick My Computer

3. SUBMIT

b. Select the file you’ve downloaded in Step A

7. Once the file is uploaded, review the message below to ensure “The Operation import has completed”. Click on Test

Click on Test, Surveys and Pools

Click on Test

a) Now you should see Academic Honesty Assessment in the test area.

8. Click on the “+” icon and select Content Area and name it Academic Honesty Tutorial Check the box for Available to Users then click Submit.

1. Click on the “+” then click Content Area

2. Name it and make the link available

9. Click to Academic Honesty Tutorial Module that you just created then click on Build Content then select Web Link

10.In the Name field, type or copy and paste: You Quote It, You Note It!

a) In the URL field, type or copy and paste: http://www.georgebrown.ca/uploadedFiles/GBCLLC/Pages/Home_Page/Study_Tools/AHT/index.html

b) Then click Submit.

11.Deploy the assessment you have imported. a) Click Assessments then click on Test

12.Select Academic Honesty Assessment then click Submit.

13.Once you added the test, it will automatically jump to the Test Options page, please ensure you do the following:a) Make sure the Test Availability is check “Yes”b) Check of mark the “Multiple Attempts”c) Complete the rest of the forms based on your needs i.e. start date and time, end date and time.d) Then Submit, once you have review all criteria on this page.
