Coaching Process GAINMORE™ leadership coaching has a unique six step coaching model, the Strategic and Sustainable Excellence Staircase that has been proven time and again to generate outstanding results across a wide range of different industries, across different geographies and across cultures.

Supported by objective assessments already taken or the GAINMORE™ Advantage Potential to Performance Systems (GAPPS) assessment.

4. Changing behaviors We enable you to change behavioral patterns at an unconscious level.

Coaching reports and available interim telephone/online coaching to support successful behavioral transfer into the workplace.

2. Agreeing development plans We create a plan with the coachee charting the current situation and the specific development needs to attain the business goals.

GAINMORE™ Executive Coaching High achievers benefit greatly from our coaching. It is usually employed at executive board, operational board or senior management level. Frequently those who utilize coaching are outstanding in one or more area of professional life and fall just short of excellence in another. Increasingly they are talented individuals who are being groomed for future leadership as part of a succession management program or as part of a company’s on going development initiatives. In many cases we are approached by organizations that want our GAINMORE™ coaching to accelerate the development and further enhance the performance of already successful, top-flight leaders.

Immediate Results GAINMORE™ executive coaching will produce quantifiable and sustainable results for your employees and your business, usually within one business quarter. Improvement is apparent immediately after coaching sessions. Coaching can vary with individual needs and we won’t try to force you into a program that works for us. We assess and agree the amount of time that each individual needs after an initial consultation.

Executive Coaching Evaluation SMART Evaluation metrics for behavioral change are established at the ‘Needs Identification” stage. This includes:

• Specific and measurable behavioral change metrics agreed between coachee and coach.

• Specific and measurable business metrics. These are highly dependent on the coachee’s function but may include: sales metrics, staff turnover, employee engagement, return on investment, profitability (stewardship), business growth, quality of services.

Generating results for our clients is one of our core values. To achieve this we have a rigorous program of quality control throughout our business. Confidential reports are provided to each Coachee after each coaching session. These reports include a review of the meeting, a benchmark of the present state and a map of the desired state, a record of changes made and agreed to, models and techniques which are appropriate for the individual Coachees to use, and a section on specific actions to be taken to facilitate and embed the new behaviors and learnings.

GAINMORE™ Coaching Advantage Many of our client organizations want to equip senior managers and high-potentials with a solid foundation in coaching so that they are able to more effectively lead their staff and team. It might be that managers are constantly being asked to do more with less, and the ability to motivate yourself and others to accomplish and sustain results is increasingly important. To this end we have designed a series of powerful programs for busy executives to learn and apply the additional skills that assist in improving their own and others drive towards business excellence. There are three key levels of GAINMORE™ Coaching Advantage:

I. Outcome Coaching – for managers or team leaders whose primary need is to coach individuals in job or functional competence on an ad-hoc, regular basis in short coaching conversations to develop specific performance improvement.

II. Behavioral Coaching – builds on outcome coaching for managers or team

leaders who need to coach individuals to develop behavioral competencies. III. Transformational Coaching – builds on behavioral coaching for managers and

leaders who need to change complex behaviors and attitudes.

Typically run over four half-day sessions, we will give you a thorough introduction to the basic principles of how relationships work, how to communicate effectively and how to change the way you think to enable your improving your performance and results. Deliberately designed in bite-sized modules, a typical schedule encourages the practical application of tools and techniques learned through action learning. At the end of each program, participants have the confidence to regularly coach team members towards specific performance outcomes and, when necessary, have those courageous conversations to address performance issues.

GAINMORE™ Certified Coach This optional advanced training program utilizes our powerful training materials developed over a number of years and benefits from our extensive practical experience working with a range of different people across a variety of industries and across the world and cultures. The program is focused on training you to a high standard resulting in certification as a GAINMORE™ Coach and licensee in the GAINMORE™ coaching framework and process. As a licensee you will be licensed to use the technology and tools that is our coaching model in the context of your organization. Independent coaches and those in private practice or associates wishing to coach outside their employment may be asked to pay a royalty fee for the use of the GAINMORE™ coaching model. Quality and effectiveness are our watchwords in coaching and Certified GAINMORE™ Coaches join our quality and effective assurance program with regular independent and objective reviews and annual licensing update training. Certification requires new coaches to undertake a total of 8 days intensive training with simulations, role plays and observed live practice. Prior to joining our certification program, participants are profiled for suitability and motivation and undertake a 17 hour online interactive video course before joining the workshops. New potential coaches are required to successfully pass a written examination and observed coaching sessions before final certification.

Certified GAINMORE™ Coaches are also trained in the use, interpretation and coaching of the GAPPS assessments.

Certified Coach Support GAINMORE™ Certified Coaches are assigned to a Master or Lead GAINMORE™ Coach as their own coach and mentor who is their primary support for assistance before or after coaching sessions. Regular meetings, at least once every quarter are arranged to review coaching progress and assignments and to update coaches with developments and to continue their own personal development. In the first year, coaches are provided 6 hours of personal coaching support and full access to our online learning, support and knowledge management system.

Assessment Tools GAPPS, the GAINMORE™ Advantage Potential to Performance System assessment is a holistic suite of tools and frameworks that help our clients focus development activities at three key levels – the organization, teams and individuals.

Offered to all individual coaching clients, GAPPS is an integral and powerful tool to identify leadership development needs and the priorities for development. GAPPS for individuals is a 76-question self-assessment tool, developed by Dr. John Kenworthy with colleagues Profs Malcolm Higgs, Vic Dulewicz and Dr Paul Aitken.

Unlike most leadership psychometrics, GAPPS has also been validated and reliability tested in Singapore and Malaysia. GAPPS is optionally available on a 180 or 360 basis for greater objectivity.
