TiO Selected as Home Automation Solution for Shenandoah Homes
Nearly 200 homes in greater Raleigh area will include TiO’s common sense home automation
MELBOURNE, Fla. – November 1, 2016 – Anuva Automation, the Florida-based manufacturer of
TiO® (Turn it On) brand of common-sense home automation products, announces a partnership with
Shenandoah Homes, a builder of choice for home buyers and realtors in the Triangle marketplace, to
include TiO as a standard in its new home line up for 2017.
Through the partnership with Shenandoah Homes, TiO will be included in 75% of homes constructed in
the upcoming year. Shenandoah Homes will provide customers with a standard package, including
lighting, thermostat and security control included in each home, with the opportunity to add more features,
such as additional lighting, door locks, garage door and/or audio, to their home. Shenandoah Homes, as
of late December, had control of over 1,000 housing lots in seven communities’ in various stages of
construction in Wake, Durham and Johnston counties and plans to close 200 homes or more in the
greater Raleigh metro area in the coming year.
“We are pleased to partner with Shenandoah Homes to bring our technology to move-in ready homes in
the Raleigh area,” said Sanjay Patel, president and chief executive officer of TiO. “Being a Raleigh-area
resident, it’s great to be able to partner with local business to create solutions for buyers in our
community. While most buyers are not looking to install their own smart products, many are willing to pay
more for ‘move-in ready’ smart technology. Shenandoah Homes understands that home automation is an
increasing trend for homebuyers and we are looking forward to working with David and his team.”
“We believe home automation is an area of importance of what home buyers are looking for and would
expect in any new home,” said David Stallings, president and owner of Shenandoah Homes. “After
researching many feasible solutions to include, TiO has a feature rich solution that is cost effective and
reliable. Featuring compatibility with many major players in home-automation, TiO can be paired with
other solutions, which allows our customers to add to their system at any time and customize it to their
expectations.”
