• Be one of the first – Explore.ms is a portal used by Microsoft

channel partners worldwide. As your business day commences ahead of everyone else, it is recommended that you download the price list at the beginning of your business day to avoid the heavy traffic



• Use filters to narrow your search criteria– By Program

• Select• Enterprise 5/6/Subscription• Campus 3/School 3

– By Price List Type• Full

– Report comprises of all products offered in the price list for the selected month

• Add/Change/Delete– Report comprises of:-

» Add – Products newly added to price list» Change – Change in Net Price/ERP to existing products in

price list» Delete – Products removed from price lists & no longer

orderable



• To download all products (license + media) offered in the Select Corporate price list, choose the following criteria:-– Price List = Australia Direct to Reseller– Price List Type = Full– Effective Date = 2004-09-01– Program = Select– Offering = Full– License Agreement Type = Corporate– Level = All– Pool = All



• DO NOT use Program = Fulfillment when selecting your criteria as the report will only return results of media offered for fulfilling an Open license

4. Click on Search to bring back the results of your search criteria.

5. Name your report & click OK.6. Go to Download Reports to export

the results to Excel.



7. Open the report in Excel.8. Then go to Data – Filter – AutoFilter



9. Select the filter in the Item Name column.10.Go to Custom.



11. In the Custom AutoFilter, select the following criteria:-• Item Name contains *Student Media

12. Click on OK & the filtered results will display all WAH media.

the pricing level for the lowest volume



• Price List Fields– Purchase Unit

• Indicates what the price is specific to• Eg. Purchase Unit of “2 Year(s)” indicates

the price for the license of the product to a customer for a 2 year period

– Purchase Period• Refers to period remaining of the license

purchased (eg. 2 Year(s) Remaining



• Price List Fields– License Agreement Type

• Refers to nature of business the license is being priced for

• Eg. License Agreement Type = Corporate, this would be the pricing for licenses purchased for commercial use

– Pool• Specifies which pool the product is a part of for

contractual purposes of pricing level assignment• Pool names available: Application, System &

Server



• Price List Fields– Product Family

• Identifies the common name for a product regardless of operating system, language, packaging, etc

• Examples: Office Professional, Exchange Server - Standard

– Product Type• Categorizes items based on their expected usage

characteristics• For example, a Standard license is a license that has

been packaged, priced, and is expected to be ultimately purchased by a user who has not purchased a previous version of that product



• Price List Fields– Unit Count

• Indicates how many “units” toward fulfillment of volume pricing commitment that 1 license of this item represents
