of Windows, there are Office Mobile, Office 365, and Office Online.

Windows Phone comes with a free version of Office known as Office

Mobile. Office Mobile for Windows Phone

is completely free to use and doesn’t

require an Office 365 subscription. It’s designed to view Office documents and perform some

basic editing, not to function as a

productivity solution.

iPhone and Android Office 365 is Microsoft’s

subscription service for Microsoft Office.

It’s available as an app for iPhone and Android.

Subscription is not needed to use these app.

But they are just simplified smartphone apps, not serious productivity solution.

There’s no way to natively use the full-featured versions of Office on iPads or Android tablets. This Office is free of charge, but it is

just a simplified version. The solution would be using an alternative office suite, such as Apple’s iWork for iPad, Google’s QuickOffice, or something else that natively supports tablets.

and use remote desktop software to access your desktop from a table or smartphone.

o A company that wants to provide Office on iPads could consider setting up a remote desktop server workers can connect to. It’s not as good as a solid local office app, but it is a way to get the full version of Microsoft Office on an iPad, Android tablet, or any other device.
