Working in pairs (10 mins)

1. 1 person creates a Word doc and shares it with their partner.

2. Click Share then click People you specify can edit then choose Anyone with the link and then add your partner’s email address.

3. Both users are to add some text to the shared Document.

4. Use the Comment feature in Review to add comments to the document. Reply to the comments.

What is OneNote?

OneNote is like a notebook, complete with books, sections, and pages.

OneNote will offer Word-like tools in the ribbon atop the screen: font selection, text style,

bullets and numbering, highlighting, and more.

Create tables to organize your notes.

Insert images, photos, audio, and video.

Create links or paste in URLs from the web.

You can share notebooks with other people using the Share button.

OneNote Class Notebooks have a personal workspace for every student, a content library for handouts, resources and a collaboration space for lessons and creative activities.

Your turn.. Creating a teaching resource

1. Find an existing teaching resource that you can convert to a Sway

1. Or think of an activity/resource that you commonly use in your classroom.

2. Think how you can convert it to a Sway and use it as a teaching resource, content

reinforcement tool, or homework resource.

3. Think about and find images that can help support the resource.

4. Find any additional links to web resources for your Sway.

Your turn.. Creating a teaching resource

1. Log into your Outlook Email then click on the 9 dots on the top right.

2. Click Sway to start a new Sway presentation.

3. Either choose New blank Sway or a Template.

4. Populating your Sway with information about your topic.

5. To Share, either click Those or Anyone, then click Copy link to share/distribute to students.
