Introduction
This program consisted of 19 stripped zones of varying sizes. The purpose of the stripping was to verify and, in some instances, sample the bedrock geology for the potential of a VMS style base metal deposit.
Location and Access
The trenches are located in Flavelle Township on claims 3003775,3014002,3014000 and 3013920 comprising a total of25 units, in the Larder Lake Mining Division, Ontario. The claims are located just south of highway 66 approximately 20 kID east of Matachewan, 35 kID Southwest of Kirkland Lake and can be reached by historical logging roads running south of highway 66. (Figure 1 and 2)
Previous Work Due to overburden cover this area was not extensively prospected. oas field work included this area in reports in 1917 and 1966. Airborne geophysical surveys were flown by OGS as part of their Operation Treasure Hunt (2000) and Discover Abitibi (2004) initiatives.
1923 Geology Report, Veteran Gold Group This earliest report on the property, with little outcrop and no geophysics was
later described as " the of an optimistic, imaginative speculator"
1984 Magnetic & VLF Electromagnetic Survey, Gross and Flavelle Township, Lader Lake Mining Division, "Gross Group", M. Leahy
This mag survey found 2 discontinuous parallel bands of mag highs interpreted to represent magnetic iron formation. EM revealed 3 parallel conducters thought to represent sulphide iron in the form of pyrite.
1988 Magnetic and Electromagnetic Report, Resources Hysoex Inc., Raymond Lashbrook
This survey outlined several anomalies on the property. An horizon was identified that was 200-300m thick containing several iron formation bands. The EM anomaly picked up a possible shear zone and several sulphide/graphitic bearing horizons flanking the magnetic anomalies in the south portion of the property
2001 Report on Geophysical Work, D Londry This work outlined one magnetic high anomaly and 2 bedrock conductors were
detected in the EM survey the magnetic anomalies in the south portion of the property
2002 Prospecting Report for the MT- Property, Gross Township, Falconbridge Limited, Christopher Wright
No outcrop was found on the claim block and therefore no bedrock source of the AEM conductivity could be determined from this work.

2006 Results of a Drilling Campaign, Dianor Resources, Jean-Pierre Cloutier One hole was drilled by Dianor Resources to a depth of 100.5 m in an attempt to
explain a 250m by 150m wide magnetic anomaly combined with a soil geochemical anomaly which could be caused by a diamond bearing kimberlite pipe. No kimberlite was intersected and the magnetic anomaly was caused by disseminated pyrite.
Stripping program
Stripping was conducted to follow up on geophysical work conducted on the grid in an attempt to prospect and sample the bedrock.
Stripping was carried out by John Rapski in numerous locations on the claims. The stripping program was conducted from December 20,2004 to September 19,2006. Stripping was completed using a backhoe mounted on a skidder with an eighteen foot reach capability. Samples were then taken in some of the more promising lithologies showing sulphide mineralization or rusty zones. Stripped zones were located with respect to the historical Falconbridge grid on the property and by using GPS co-ordinates. (Figure 1/ Map 1) Diagrams and sample locations are on the maps included.
Conclusion
Due to the extensive overburden cover more trenching is recommended to adequately understand the anomalous geophysical anomalies and to accurately define the zones of potential mineralization.
