Day 5 Mon. May 7 This morning, we venture off to Holland Michigan Tulip Time, home of over five million Dutch favorites! For 88 years, the Tulip Time festival in Holland, Michigan has attracted guests from around the world for fun and flowers. We will visit Nelis’ Dutch Village, a reproduction of an 1800’s Dutch village, with Dutch architecture, canals, and beautiful gardens. Learn a few steps of Holland’s traditional “klompen” dance, watch artisans make cheese and carve candles. Visit Windmill Island Gardens, a thirty acre palette of color with the only authentic working Dutch Windmill in the U.S. After dinner, we will relax and enjoy the “Happily Ever After Show.” We stay in Holland for the next 2 nights. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Tues. May 8 Today, we tour Veldheer’s Tulip Farm, Holland’s only tulip farm & perennial garden. What started out as a hobby farm with 100 red tulips and 300 white tulips, today Veldheer’s plants over 5.5 million tulips for you to walk through and enjoy. Next stop is DeKlomp Wooden Shoe and Delft Factory. At this double Dutch delight, you can talk with the artists as they mold, hand-paint, and glaze the only authentic blue and white delftware made in the U.S, or watch the wooden shoe carving on machines that were imported from the Netherlands. Then it’s off to a Dutch brunch and the “Ah! Men” vocalist show. In the afternoon, we will have a step-on guided tour of Holland, followed by a quilt show. Our last day in Holland, MI, ends with our farewell dinner, followed by “Dazzle!” A Tulip Time Talent Showcase. (B,L,D)
