From October 19-21, 2008 Held at The Grand Hotel-Mackinaw Island,

MI Nine Club SOTA students attended

MiOTA 2008 Fall Conference

Thirty-four different workshops were offered during the two-day conference.

They were graded by levels (student, entry, intermediate, advanced) to help us identify which workshops were appropriate.

Some of the workshops Club SOTA students attended included: Home Safety, Range of Motion and Strength Assessment, Sensory Solutions, Brachial Plexus Palsy and Healthy Lifestyles Through an Adaptive Living Program.

Over 30 Exhibitors Including many medical equipment

specialists like Abilitations, Wright & Filippis, Sheldon Medical Supply

Recruiting agencies from all over the state of Michigan. Students gave contact information for job possibilities upon graduation.
