Creating and maintaining a culture of safety through the business, ensuring all staff report all incidents, accidents, near misses and equipment faults, thereby reducing injuries and ensuring staff have a safe environment to work in whilst carrying out their duties.

Management of injured staff working closely with local medical practitioners, I have been successful in reducing the level of (LTI) Lost Time Injuries in the workplace.

Effective in the reduction of insurance premiums. Successful in reducing incidents in the work place through management and staff

involvement in Risk Assessments and Tool Box sessions. Hi level incident and accident investigations skills effectively identifying hazards in the

workplace and directing Corrective Actions to the departments involved. Excellent Auditing skills reviewing company policies and procedures to eliminate the risk. Maintaining safety for on-site contractors, ensuring full compliance with company policies

Manage and maintain a quality automotive repair facility including nine staff. Carry out quality repairs, private and insurance work for customer accident claims. Apprentice training in all automotive specialist fields. Conduct new vehicle warranty repairs for two major automotive groups (Holden & Toyota)

1999 – 2004 (CPPS) Computer Paneling Painting Services:

Responsibilities: General Manager

Manage a specialized business repairing and refurbishing (ATM) Automatic Teller Machines for major Banks and Building Societies.

Develop new processes working with foam injected plastics and composite materials. On-site run-test and installation of repaired units within time constraints. Logistical management, arranging unit movements and deliveries throughout Australia.

Menai Lions Club 1996 – 2011

President: 2000 and 2001

Special Projects Coordinator:

Menai Mayfair, an annual event generating more than $30,000 back to the community and charitable organizations.

President in 2000, working with the (RTA) Roads & Traffic Authority as the coordinator for the official opening of the Woronora Bridge involving local and government authorities maintaining the safety of the 10’000 visitors and residents that participated in the walk across the bridge and enjoyed the festivities.

Coordinated and held the Alcohol License for the official Black Tie Gala night on the bridge attended by Federal and State politicians and celebrities.

Coordinator for the opening of the M5 East project for the RTA, involving more than five local Lions Clubs and involving local and government authorities maintaining the safety and wellbeing of all who participated in the opening.

Holder of the Alcohol License for the official Black Tie Gala Night on the M5 East roadway prior to the opening attended by Federal and State politicians and celebrities.

Coordinator for the RTA for the opening of the Bangor By-pass in 2005.

Menai District Sports Club

Vice President 2002 and 2003

Active in helping local sporting clubs negotiate with local council for sporting field, lighting and management equipment.

Coordinator for the allocation of land for an the Indoor Multi Sports Facility at Menai Central, involving Local Council and Land Rights groups opposed to the facility.

Active in coordinating negotiations between Local Council and contractors to build sporting facilities and a golf course on the old Menai Tip site.
