MICHAEL J. McDoNALD -- FOBHEUDA REPUBLICAN CHAIB- Endorsements • Mayor Mike Montandon - I have known Michael McDonald for many years. When I was serving as Mayor of North Las Vegas and Michael was Mayor Pro Tem for Las Vegas, his strong leadership and drive to succeed was invaluable. Michael is the kind of man the Nevada Republican Party needs to take on the Democrats in 2012, and it is without hesitation that I fully endorse Michael McDonald to be Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party. • James Smack, Acting Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party - On KDWN 720AM with Alan Stock on April 19. "I am hereby publicly endorsing Michael McDonald for Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party. II ----- -- • Steve Donahue, Budget Chairman - Michael McDonald inan intelligent, capable and genuinely good man who has been a Nevada Republican Party member for a long time. In all my dealings with Michael, he has always placed the interests of the Nevada Republican Party ahead of his own interests. Michael is the obvious choice to take the reins. With control of the U.S. Senate perhaps hinging on the Nevada U.S. Senate contest be- tween Senator Heller and Congresswoman Berkley, in my opinion, the next Chair of the NRP should be from populous Clark County because Clark is where this contest will be decided and our next Chairman has to be able to pitch-in on an almost daily basis to make sure we keep this seat and with it, control of the U.S. Senate . • State Senator Michael Roberson - "\ support Michael McDonald for State Chairman. Michael has the neces- sary courage to take the fight to the Democrats and he's not afraid to absorb the criticism that goes hand-in-hand with being a party chairman. Michael may also be the only person who can truly unite the differing factions within the State Central Committee. He understands that-in order to win elections-all Republicans must be rowing the boat together in the same direction. It's time to stop making excuses and simply get the job done.I firmly believe _Michael McDonald will get the job done." • Chuck Muth - "As a former GOP party chairman and executive director, I knowfrom first-hand experience ex- actly what 'skills' are needed to effectively run such a political operation. Mike McDonald has those skills, knowl- edge and experience. He gets the media. He gets the fundraising. He gets the grassroots. He gets the messag- ing. He gets the 'herding cats.' In short, 'he got game.' He's also battle-tested. So for those on the Left 'salivating' over Mike's possible election; thinking they're going to have a field day with him, you better be careful what you wish for. Because unlike far too many other Republican 'leaders: Mike runs toward the sound of the cannons, not away from them." •Frank Ricotta, former Chairman for the CCRP - ''This time let's vote for the man who has the skill set to do the best job for our party. Our Chairman must be able to unify all of the groups within the party and focus us on our goal of electing Republicans to Office. The next Chairman must be battled tested and strong in order to deal with the Media and effectively stand up to the unrelenting attacks from the left. We need a Chairman who can relate with the man on the street as well as he relates to our elected officials. We need a Chairman who canraise money for the party. We need a Chairman who is committed to workiogwith ai_I _ of the County Central Committees. Weneed a Chairman who is committed to the job for the full term of office. This is not a popularity contest; cast your vote for the best man for the job. I urge you to cast your vote for Micheal McDonald." • Eddie Facey, E Board member for the CCRP -"'n this environment, we need someone who is willing to di- rectly communicate, even if that communication might not be popular with some factions. We need a person will- ing to accept criticism, and understand that there" is no particular policy that will satiSfy all factions within the party. We need a person committed to openne~fairness, anddiligence in leading our Party. For this election, I believe that person is Michael McDonald." '
