It has definitely been a long road that has lead Micah and Stefanie to photographing weddings. Though at times the journey has been a bit bumpy, once they found their rhythm they discovered their passion for capturing love.

Micah was born in Orlando, Florida and like most Navy brats, moved every couple years throughout his childhood until his family finally settled in the small town of Centerville, Utah. Growing up, Micah always had an eye for cinema and the magic that went into creating it. So when it was time for college, he packed up and headed out to Orange County, California with the hope of becoming a part of Hollywood creative royalty as a director or producer.

Stefanie was born and raised in North Hollywood, California and her family grew up around the Hollywood studios. Her father rented staging equipment and being on a set was just second nature to her and her five older siblings. Growing up with a love for fashion and all things design, is what ultimately led her to design school in Orange County, where she received her degree in Commercial Advertising and Graphic Design.

As cliche as it sounds, when Micah and Stefanie first met sparks flew. And to make a long story short, after some wedding bells, a couple babies, and a trip across the desert, they are happy to be raising their family in the beautiful state of Arizona.

Over time their creative talents merged into a mutual passion for photography. Micah’s film and video background adds a cinematic flare, while Stefanie’s eye for design brings all the little details together on each shoot they do together.

“As we meet with our clients, we really try to understand their story, and listen to the things that are important to them in their photography and also try to catch a feel for their style,” says Stefanie. “Our ultimate goal is to ensure we are matching our style with theirs. We want our signature to be on all of our art, metaphorically, but still have the images we produce be a perfect reflection of that couple’s love.”

When Micah was asked, “what sets you and Stefanie apart from other photographers?” he replied, “I think it would be our ability to relate with our couples. We’ve been through the chaos of planning a wedding, we know looking back what images are priceless to us, like the ones of Stefanie and her father together, since he passed away just two months after we were married. We understand how important our job is, to be there, focused, ready to capture each fleeting moment.”

Micah and Stefanie cherish the opportunity to meet amazing people, and to share and capture their special day. They couldn’t imagine anything better in life.

theRECEPTIONBeing able to capture the unique way families from around the world celebrate a wedding is such an amazing experience. And the fact that we get to be a part of that family for a day, is simply magical.

We know just how difficult it can be to plan a wedding. From picking your dress, to finding the perfect venue, to sorting through the dozens of options you have when it comes to your photographer, we try to make the process of at least one of those items as painless as possible. Below is a snap shot of what to expect when you decide to book Micah and Stefanie as your exclusive wedding day photographers.

By the time we meet up for your engagements or on your wedding day, we’ve already had plenty of opportunities to get to know each other, so it really feels like a couple of friends hanging out and snapping some photos. We try to keep it all as stress free as possible.

Depending on where you’re located, we’ll find a location to meet up, grab a drink and just chat about your wedding day, how you two met and what you’re looking for in your wedding photographer. If it sounds like we’re all a good fit, it’s time to make it official and add you to our calendar.

Give us a call or shoot us an email. We love chatting with couples and hearing all about their story. We’ll talk about our different packages and give you a feel for what you can expect from our work. Then we love to set up a time where we can meet face-to-face.
