What MHA Lighting Can Do For You

MHA Lighting has a product range that allows us to replace fluorescents, halogens and metal halides in any footprint and we offer better light quality and high reliability than other LED manufacturers.

MHA Lighting’s products are designed and built with high reliability, which in addition to the unique technology differentiates us from general LED offerings.

MHA Lighting uses waveguide technology to provide a safe and efficient light output. We also use acrylic rods to amplify and control the light output, reducing the number of LEDs required. This means we can use high power LEDs, draw less current and have no need to diffuse the output. Our patented lighting technology uses two-thirds of the energy of other LED competitors.

Under Canopy Lighting MHA Lighting’s C Range has been designed as a direct replacement for existing canopy lights such as SONs and Metal Halides.

It provides a clean, bright, ultra white light creating a focal point and key attraction for any convenience forecourt.

TiLite Product Range The TiLite has been designed to provide optimum uniformity for task/general lighting eliminating the need for numerous downlights. This product is available in a range of wattage and mounting types to suit any retail environment. Please note that the products listed below are also available in 1200 x 600 mm fixtures along with surface mount brackets for solid ceilings.

DownLite & Gimbal Product Range DownLights and Gimbal fittings should only be used as an intense washer for areas where you want to direct attention. These Fittings can be used to Light interior signage, refrigeration or to wash deep into shelving areas. These should only be considered as an additional feature in order to direct customers to areas where you want to maximise sales or highlight.

Perimeter/Security Lighting The Perimeter range can be used to create an enticing feature around your forecourt, light your car wash or illuminate other key areas. This Product is available in 45 or 91 watts, typically replacing 150-250 watt halides/SONs.



The importance of light levels and colourAll our products are designed to ensure you meet or exceed CIBSE standards. All our internal products are 4500 K with an 80 CRI. This is recommended as best practice for retail as it provides a bright white light to bring out primary colours without feeling cold/harsh. Your 80 CRI will allow you to claim ECA s typically at 20%.

Colour temperature is a standard method of describing colours for use in a range of situations and with different equipment. Colour temperatures are normally expressed in units called kelvins (K).

Why is colour important? As you can see from this picture of a multi-storey car park, the colour of light can make a huge difference in the overall feeling and appeal of a venue. MHA Lighting replaced existing 70w SON fittings (left) with our 34w LB Lite (right).
