FM-200 System Testing of fire suppression is too expensive ? For FM200 testing, Gas release is not requir

demonstrated during testing. However, the entire

process of cross zoning needs to be demonstrated

with electrical actuator getting active when fire

condition is met. In this process, if there is releaseof gas due to negligence or defect, the cost of

refilling will be borne by the vendor.

The Inert Gas Flooding System, all equipments,

Instruments, Gas containers, Gas etc. specified

herein, must comply with the requirements of NFPA -

2001, in addtion to the description given in respective

items of BOQ,

All the items / parts not specifically mentioned here in

BOQ but necessary to make the system complete

and to conform to NFPA-2001 shall be deemed to be

included in the quoted rates, unless specifically

excluded.

Design, Supply, Installation and Testing of Gas

flooding system based on Clean gas (Novec 1230)

for Fire protection of following rooms.The system

shall be designed at minimum design concentration of

4.2% but less than NOAEL of 10% as per NFPA2001

and consist of gas cylinders of 67/80 liters filled with

Novec 1230 at 42 bar.

The system must designed accordance with NFPA

2001. The price shall include cylinder, gas filled (at

min. design concentration) piping, required nos. of

discharge nozzles, dedicated fire alarm system to

activate the system, control panel with manual

discharge and abort switches, safety signs, interface

with SCADA and all other accessories and saftey

features.
