IntroductionEstablished in 1993, Metro Lintels Steel Fabrication has become an award winning market leader for the supply, fabrication and erection of chutes, conveyors, tanks, hoppers, bins and structural steel. What began as a local service throughout the metropolitan and urban areas has developed in to a large-scale structural steel fabrication business that has clients in the commercial, mining and agricultural business sectors of the state. Servicing all water, oil & gas, power, defence, rail and civil districts of Western Australia.

Commercial Fabrication & Construction Our extensive portfolio of successfully completed infrastructure projects ranges from shopping centres, schools, hospitals, airports, sporting facilities, restaurants to commercial warehousing facilities.

Metro Lintels Steel Fabrication offers an optimised fabrication delivery service utilising our CNC machinery. Our workshops are equipped with automated beam lines with a capacity to handle up to, and including, 1200mm welded beams. All plate, flat bar and angle iron manufacture is processed via our Ficep Tipo 8 angle line. These machines are complimented by a High Definition Plasma/Oxy cutting and precision drilling unit able to produce components of up to 100mm plate.

We have a knowledgeable, safety aware and dedicated team of estimators, project managers and logistics personnel with vast experience in steel fabrication, drafting, surfact treatment, transport and on-site erection.

We are a Structural Mechanical Piping fabricator providing the resource sector with components and assemblies including conveyors, tanks, ROM bins, crushing and screening structures, spooling, bridges, walkways, stairs, platforms, handrails, guards, grating, conveyor supports, frames, towers, pipe racks and mechanical support steel.

All major construction projects are supported by a complete and comprehensive Quality Control Management Plan, incorporating all relevant MDR’s, JSA’s and ITP’s in accordance with all mining, oil & gas standards.

Metro DraftingMetro Lintels drafting division, was established with the view of providing our clients with a complete detailing service from project commencement, through to a successful handover.

Our state of the art BIM compliant TEKLA and STRUCAD drawing packages enable us to accurately preview the entire design in a 3D model before production commences.

All electronic data generated by this model, transfers seamlessly through to our C.N.C machinery via N.C and DXF files. The efficient interaction between our detailers and the workshop personnel through this technology, reduces delays in production and increases accuracy and quality.
