It’s your way to perfection, so it always starts with you, with your own mind. Nobody knows better than you how your mega yacht or luxury residence should look. Our job is to understand your ideas as precisely as possible and to transfer them into our own heads.

That’s why we make careful inquiries right from the start and engage with your ideas in real depth. What materials do you want to surround you? What surface textures and color flows do you have in mind? What kind of interior and object design do you want to achieve? But also: What video and audio technology do you want to install? What room and area arrangements would you like to captivate your guests – and yourself?

Interior design is highly complex. On the one hand, the aesthetic design of the visible surfaces must be executed to the highest degree of quality, reflecting our customer’s ideal vision even in its tiniest details. On the other, when building the whole infrastructure our engineers have to think ahead in terms of the supply technology that will invisibly underpin your desired interior.

That’s why we discuss the project with all the relevant specialists early in the process, and take their needs into account when building the floor, wall, and ceiling structures: What electric cables, air conditioning hoses, and water pipes have to be laid, and where? Where should sub-distribution units and transformers be placed? And how do we plan monitoring

and control systems in such a way that they are accessible and easy for service staff to operate?

And that’s not all that needs to be considered: Fire safety, soundproofing, vibration protection, and other necessary and legally mandatory safety systems – we plan all of it out with great care, in all its complexity and mutual project dependencies, and then test the outcome in a multi-tiered process. This gives our project management team a valid toolkit to use for combining and synchronizing the various specialist processes in a way that is efficient and punctual.

That’s why we work with only the very best carpenters, joiners, and woodworkers who have already proven their skills, and who bring the best possible references. They carry out all the woodworking tasks on our projects, accurately, punctually, and always to the very highest standards.

These high standards of quality also apply to our external partners. Over many years, we’ve built a network of top-notch suppliers

whose job is to make components from the finest material – perhaps selected high-quality metals, or hand-finished crystal. We’ve known these companies for a long time, and they prove their superior quality over and over again, on project after project.

All craftspeople and stakeholders are integrated into our project management plan, and they produce and deliver according to precisely coordinated guidelines, all doing their utmost for the perfect process.

Interior design expresses personality. And an extraordinary interior is the expression of an extraordinary personality. That’s why we pay particular attention to the emotional quality of our surfaces. It’s only by meeting your expectations in terms of color design, texture, and visual surface molding with absolute precision that we can transform a made by metrica interior into “your” interior.

So creating perfect surfaces is another key step on your way to perfection. To build a perfectly smooth, close-pored wooden surface that gives a sense of depth in its visual impact requires numerous work steps. It all starts by alternately priming and polishing the wood surface repeatedly; followed by application of a high-grade lacquer, which is also repeated several times.

The next phase of the process sees the workpiece minutely examined for the tiniest unevenness or indentation, and if any are found they are eliminated using precision tools, an exact eye, and a finely honed feel for the perfect surface.

Only when we have achieved the optimum result do our specialists start to polish the surfaces to a high shine. Here too, we rely on our employees’ combination of experience and sensitivity – a combination far superior to any automated surface finishing process.

On your way to perfection, we go that special step further in treating delivery quality as part of overall product quality: For us, a finely finished, visually appealing product is only truly perfect when the supply process also supports us to carry out on-site assembly as efficiently and intelligently as possible.

That’s why all components – whether manufactured in-house or by our partners – come together in our factory, where they receive an identification number which includes a digital bar code. From that moment, our in-house project management team knows where each component is at any time.

This allows us to deliver the components precisely and punctually, in accordance with

how the assembly process is advancing. This enables us to reduce on-site storage costs to a minimum. It also allows us to compensate for potential unforeseen changes to the plan by delivering other components early, so our assembly team can continue working on-site no matter what.
