Opening Hymn #313 - Lord Speak to Me
1. Lord speak to me, that I may
speak in living echoes of thy tone;
As thou has sought, so let me
seek Thy erring children lost and
lone.
2.O lead me, Lord, that I may lead the wandering and the
wavering feet; O feed me, Lord,
that I may feed Thy
hungering ones with manna
sweet.
3. O teach me, Lord, that I may
teach the precious things thou dost impart; And wing my words,
that they may reach
The hidden depths of many a
heart.
4. O use me, Lord, use even me, just as thou wilt, and when, and
where,
Until thy blessed face I see, Thy
rest, thy joy, thy glory share.
Prayer – Sis. Janice Mayers
Gracious God we come together in unison to sing your praises
and proclaim your Holy name, You are a God of abundant love
and we give you thanks and praise for your goodness. All around
us are signs of growth and we realize that it is your doing being the supplier and sustainer of the heavens and the earth. We pray
that you will let the sun of your love burst upon us in all its glory.
On this special day we pause to behold your beauty as we gather
to worship you.
Prayer of Adoration – Sis. Janice Mayers
Immortal God, we acknowledge You as creator of the world. We
glorify your name as we come to worship You anchored in Christ
by faith. Your mercy is from everlasting to everlasting. Come into
every shadowed corner of our lives. Fill us with peace so we may
proclaim the good news of mercy and forgiveness for all. Empower us with the Holy Spirit so that our lives may continually glorify
You. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen
Silent Prayer of Confession
Prayer of Confession - Sis. Yvonne Newton Lord forgive us when we doubt your mercy and your Love. Help
us to wait and remember that it is in the process of waiting that
we hear your voice. We find excuses not to be attentive to you,
but to focus instead on our own desires. Lord we do not put our
faith in your abiding presence. Forgive us when we show how
shallow our faith is. We judge others who fail to live up to our expectations. Help us to see and realize that we are all your
children. May we be transformed into people of joyful service and
faith. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Prayer Chorus:
Bind us together Lord;
Bind us together Lord; With cords that cannot be
broken;
Bind us together Lord;
Bind us together Lord;
Bind us together with Love.
There is only one God, there is
only one King, There is only one Body, that is
why we sing:
Bind us together Lord; Bind us
together with Love.
Prayer of Thanksgiving – Sis. Angelia Chandler

MCCA Women President’s Message - Sis Avonda Scott
MCCA Women Hymn - (All Women Standing)
1.Help us to accept each other As Christ accepted us;
Teach us as sister, brother
Each person to embrace,
Be present, Lord, among us
And bring us to believe
We are ourselves accepted
And meant to love and live
2.Teach us, O Lord, your lessons, As in our daily life
We struggle to be human
And search for hope and faith.
Teach us to care for people, For all
not just for some,
To love them as we find them,
Or as they may become
Ministry of the Word: COLLECT: Almighty and everlasting God to whose Spirit the whole body of the Church is governed and sanctified; hear our
prayer which we offer for all your faithful people, that in their
vocation and ministry, they may serve you in holiness and truth
to the glory of your name; through our Lord and Savour Jesus
Christ. Amen
Responsive Reading: Psalm 78: 1-7; 12-16 - Sis. Janis Estwick
1Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the
words of my mouth. 2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, 3 things that we have heard and known, that our ancestors have
told us. 4 We will not hide them from their children; we will tell to the
coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the
wonders that he has done. 5 He established a decree in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel,
which he commanded our ancestors to teach to their children; 6 that the next generation might know them, the children yet
unborn, and rise up and tell them to their children, 7so that they should set their hope in God, and not forget the
works of God, but keep his commandments; 12 In the sight of their ancestors he worked marvels in the
land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan. 13 He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the
waters stand like a heap. 14 In the daytime he led them with a cloud, and all night long
with a fiery light. 15 He split rocks open in the wilderness, and gave them drink
abundantly as from the deep. 16 He made streams come out of the rock, and caused waters to flow down like rivers.
The Gloria…..
MCCA Women Hymn (Con’t)
3. Let your acceptance change us
So that we may be moved In living
situations
To do the truth in love;
To practice your acceptance Until
we know by heart The table of forgiveness
And laughter’s healing art.
4. Lord for today’s encounters
With all who are in need,
Who hunger for acceptance, For
righteousness and bread,
We need new eyes for seeing, New
hands for holding on; Renew us with your spirit; Lord, free us,
make us one!

Hymn #272 - O Jesus I Have Promised (verses 1 & 2)
O Jesus, I have promised to serve Thee to the end; Be Thou forever near me, my Master and my Friend;
I shall not fear the battle if Thou art by my side,
Nor wander from the pathway if Thou wilt be my Guide.
Oh, let me feel Thee near me; the world is ever near;
I see the sights that dazzle, the tempting sounds I hear; My foes are ever near me, around me and within;
But, Jesus, draw Thou nearer, and shield my soul from sin.
The Gospel - Matthew 28: 16-20 – Sis. Edwina Scantlebury
Reflection II - Sis. Nwka Daniel
Hymn #272 - O Jesus I Have Promised (Verses 3 & 4)
O let me hear thee speaking in accents clear and still,
Above the storms of passion, he murmurs of self will;
O speak to reassure me, to hasten or control’ O speak, and make me listen, Thou guardian of my soul.
O Jesus, thou hast promised to all who follow thee,
That where thou art in glory there shall thy servant be;
And, Jesus, I have promised to serve thee to the end;
O give me grace to follow my master and my friend!

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, Hallowed be thy name
On the earth as it is in heaven. Hallowed be thy name
Give us this day our daily bread. Hallowed be thy name And forgive us all our trespasses Hallowed be thy name
Only as we forgive those who trespass against us. Hallowed be
thy name
And lead us not into temptation, Hallowed be thy name
But deliver us from all that is evil. Hallowed be thy name
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory Hallowed be thy name
For ever and ever and ever and ever. Hallowed be thy name
Amen, amen, it shall be so! Hallowed be thy name
Amen, amen, it shall be so! Hallowed be thy name
Closing Hymn #309 - Go Labour On
(Walk Up Offering for MCCA Women 2020 Assembly)
Go labour on, spend, and be spent, your joy to do the Father’s
will;
It is the way the Master went’ Should not the servant tread it
still?
Go, Labour on, while it is day; the world’s dark night is hastening on;
Speed, speed your work, cast sloth away; It is not thus that souls
are won.
Toil on, faint not, keep watch, and pray; be wise, the erring soul to win;
Go forth into the world’s highway; it is not thus that souls are
won.
Benediction Jesus said “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, so I am sending you.” He believes in you. The busy world awaits your compassion. God believes in us Go gladly, daring to succeed or fail to the glory of God, and then at the very end, nothing will dismay you. God believes in you. With Christ’s own breath within us, we shall be well. Go in Faith
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, now and
evermore. Amen.
