Waiting…They sat nervously waiting for the Chief Tian to speak. They thought they were in deep, deep trouble. Daisy brushed her golden, silky hair out of her face as she revised her karate moves in her head. She had been learning karate since she was only five. Suddenly she burst out with the words “Ooww”. She had just noticed that she was still wearing her extraordinary, golden bow and arrow. It rubbed at her beautiful dress covered with stunning flowers. She had always loved the vibrant petals of exotic flowers.

Eventually, the Chief Tian arrived and started to speak softly. “The village is in need of your help, "he whispered in a voice as quiet as a mouse. “Why us?" they replied. “Because you will be amazing together, with your resourcefulness, karate skills and your medicine/poison knowledge, Daisy. Isabel, your smart brain, extreme dagger action and how good you are at facing your fears. You will be the perfect pair.” They sat there with their eyes wide open, waiting to think of something that would persuade Chief Tian that they weren’t the right people, but they couldn’t think of anything…

Daisy turned her head to notice the village. It couldn’t be! This beautiful and colourful village had turned into a dark, gloomy one. This was a different matter. Daisy thought it was just a small cough but it was the opposite. A vile plague was spreading round the village as quick as lightning. They would be next, if they didn’t do anything about it!

Deciding whether to go or not, Daisy turned her head back to face Isabel. They could see the fear in each other’s eyes. There was only two different answers but it was still an extremely hard choice. Could they die when they were there? Was it dangerous or safe? What would happen if they failed? They had the answer at the tip of their tongue, but was it the right one?

A couple of minutes later, they had both agreed on the hardest, scariest decision of their lives. They were going to do it. They would bravely complete the quest and show everyone that they were amazing.

An hour a later(that felt like a year), they found themselves holding a magnificent, wooden box.

Also, a dusty map, that looked like it had just been dropped in a cup of tea or maybe even just dug out of the ground. They had just jumped into a brown, weed filled, disgusting swamp. The ancient map had told them that this was the way . This made

them a little bit suspicious as it was a big thing to be asked to do, but they carried on with bravery.

They kept on swimming deeper and deeper, until they reached a rusty, iron cabin. They approached it

nervously and opened the stiff door. To there amazement the door opened but they didn’t have

time to stop and talk. They stepped in and noticed two doors; a wooden

and a metal door. Which door should they take?

POP…pop…POP…pop. This was too weird, she thought, as Isabel stood popping all the bubbles she saw. Was it safe to go? What was going to happen if they got caught in a bubble. Daisy, who was scared about death, counted down from five as they got ready to jump. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, JUMP. They leaped into the air and were so close to the ground, when a gigantic bubble flew into them. They were trapped…

Struggling to get out, an idea popped into Daisy’s mind. If they popped the bubble then they could fall and be free. Daisy punched the bubble with all her strength(it was a very strong bubble). The punch created a small hole, that gently lowered the bubble. They were down. They opened the next door and arrived in the scariest room ever.

Water… everywhere! There was clean, fresh water in every nook and cranny of the room. As Daisy was just about to jump over a small lake of water in the middle of the room, something extraordinary happened. The lake of water turned into a wall. It flew right into the sky as if like magic. Isabel pulled Daisy’s wet, less beautiful dress back just in the nick of time. They waited for a moment and the same thing happened. Once every ten seconds the lake became a wall. They had to jump over now or they would be stuck forever but if they went to soon then they would be pulled in and drown. They had to go now or face defeat. They pulled themselves together and jumped.

A second later, they had landed. It was either the bottom of the water, their imagination or they had made it. Their eyes slowly started to notice that they had made the right move and they were over! They carried on going and arrived in the next room.

Germ tornado

They stepped into the room to meet their biggest fear! Swirling like a tornado, it came rushing over to Isabel and Daisy. This monstrous creature was more than enough to make anyone sick. You didn’t even need to look at it to know that this thing was nothing to mess with. The smell was like garbage but worse. They stood speechless. They wanted to let out a deafening scream but every time they tried, the monster let out a ghastly breath of all the most horrible smells mixed into one. They slowly stepped back, but as they did the monster let out a high pitch scream. It sounded like it was in agonising pain but no understanding did they show. This ugly, smoky mess could make even the most feared person on earth scream…if they had the bravery to do so. They ran for their lives and made it. They approach the next door. Wait, there’s two, they thought. Which door should ? Blue or yellow door?

“Not again! "Daisy screamed. They were back were they started, in the swamp. Suddenly Isabel noticed something glistening in the corner of her eye. It was a key. They excitedly swam up to it, grabbed the key and placed it into the lock. They swam back up to the top. The box opened! A gust of gold, shiny dust blew into the water, creating some sort of magical reaction that caused a drop of potion to come dripping onto every single person’s head. The village turned into it’s vibrant, action packed self and everyone was cured. They had finished the quest and arrived back safely. Everyone would remember their names!

They thought they were safe, but they weren’t. The monster was back and looking for revenge(and a snack)! They hadn’t noticed the monster, until they were looking for the key and POW! It was over. This thing had struck and now there was no going back. If only they had been watching. The monster flew away. They had failed. Chief Tian would be the opposite of pleased and could even chuck them off the island if he wasn’t in a good mood, and he wasn’t a very jolly man. They swam back to be welcomed by a crowd of ill, dying families waiting disappointedly. They had failed on the quest and had let down their village. On top of all that they, too, were stuck with the terrible plague for the rest of their lives…
