Thought for the week…
Logic will get you from A to B.
Imagination will take you
everywhere.
Albert Einstein.
Hello Year 8, I’m back at my desk in my office at home as I write to you this week. 11 weeks’ worth of
newsletters is a lot and I do wonder if I will ever run out of things to say to you all, however, this week I
wanted to get you to think about if there is anything you are looking forward to. In my house for the last
few months and weeks we have been working towards 3 July – why you may ask? Well if you have Disney+
this was when ‘Frozen 2’ was released and it has been a huge talking point for my daughter. So I wonder
how many of you, like me, had a film night last Friday and watched Frozen 2?! There are a few things I’m
looking forward too, they are the summer holidays, but also when we are all able to get together again.
Some of you I’ve seen, when I’ve popped into school, but some of you I haven’t seen since the end of
March. Keep in mind the things you are looking forward to and this will help you focus yourselves in the
short term. With two weeks to go, I know you can do it – you have made me extremely proud of you all.
Keep this up!!
Stay safe,
Mr. Wright
