PROPS.

Page 4: Mes c and e

There is only one location which you can see properly in my film. Which is a bedroom. The floor is littered with rubbish and alcohol bottles, the room is naturally lit by a light, to break the conventions of typical Thriller films.

Another location that is mentioned is a typical modern looking house.

LOCATIONS.

The lighting is going to be quite bright because I want to break the convention of Thriller lighting usually being dark.

Obviously in the flashback scenes the lighting will be extremely bright as the shots are all of a fire.

LIGHTING.

I want my main characters performance to confuse my audience. I want them to be unsure whether she is a villain or not.

She acts quite unpredictable having sudden outbursts of rage. However when she looks and pictures of who we assume is her family she gets sad.

PERFORMANCE.

Page 7: Mes c and e

In scenes when she is being made out to be evil I want lots of low angle shots to make her look more intimidating. But when she is upset I want high angle shots to make her seem more small and vulnerable.

I want to use quite a lot of close up shots to show emotions so the audience find it easier to sympathise with her or not like her.

CAMERAWORK.

I am going to be cutting between real time and flash backs and as the sequence goes on the flashbacks get more frequent.

EDITING.

Page 9: Mes c and e

There will be minimal dialogue. I feel that that helps create tension and a feeling of uneasiness.

I will include some non diegetic sounds to exaggerate diegetic sound which may not come across too well.

Most of the sound will be diegetic.

I will be using a voice over for the radio bit.
