Meritor’s industry leading drivetrain products offer easy packaging around today’s engines, transmissions, and emissions hardware. The MTC-4200 Series of transfer cases encompasses a robust case design and uses precision ground gearing for maximum durability and torque capability in the most demanding situations. The MTC-4200 Series is designed to mate with Meritor’s MX-120 Series Front Drive Steer axles for minimal front driveline angles and optimal powertrain packaging to enable low vehicle heights.

The MTC-4208XP and MTC-4210XP transfer case models include a full-power, high-speed PTO assembly along with front axle engage-on-the-fly functionality, split-shaft PTO compatibility, and an enlarged oil sump. These models continue to use the current through-shaft pump to enable the high rear output location of the PTO.

The MTC-4208XL and MTC-4210XL transfer case models can also be equipped with an aftermarket PTO by using PTO Kit 2540 and Pump Conversion Kit 2831, available through Meritor’s Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket. Please call 888-725-9355 for information on these kits.

The MTC-4213X transfer case model includes many of the same features as the XL models, such as the front axle engage-on-the-fly capability, compatibility with split-shaft PTOs and mid-ship pumps, and increased sump capacity. The MTC-4213X model also continues to use the current through-shaft pump to enable the high rear output configuration.
