APRIL Welcome back and happy Spring! Before the quarter gets too busy I wanted to make sure you knew about the upcoming 6th Annual Black & Orange Leadership Awards. Every year we want to make sure the campus community recognizes the outstanding individuals, student organizations and programs that make up K. We recognize that it is not only students that impact our community and with this in mind the with this in mind there are also awards for faculty and staff. If you are interested in submitting a nomination, the process is very simple.You can find all the nomination information on the Office of Student Involvement Website. kzoo.edu/student/activities/leadership/blackorange/ Nominations are live now! Nominations are due Monday, May 9th at 5pm (7th Week). The 6th Annual Black & Orange Leadership Award Banquet will be held on T Tuesday 24th at 7:30pm (9th Week) in the Hicks Banquet Hall. If you are interested in being a part of the award selection committee, or have any questions or concerns please reach out to me at [email protected]. Spring happenings for Intercultural Student Life On April 29 and 30, Intercultural Student Life will host an Intercultural mini-conference and Hip Hop collective on campus. Please watch for additional information. If you or your student organization would like to help with the planning, please contact me at [email protected]. As I continue to learn about Kalamazoo College and work towards our intercultural mission, I would love to hear from individual members of this community. I will be hosting a series of forums and meetings throughout Spring for students who would like to have input on what Intercultural work should look like at K.
