2 SARAH BAKEWELL Director of Corporate Services, Hawai‘i Life Real Estate BrokersSarah has an extensive background in the real estate business, spanning 30+ years. Along with being the owner/operator of her family real estate company in St. Louis, MO started by her grandfather, she has been involved in sales, management, operations, marketing, corporate relocation services, real estate development projects, historic renovation projects, and real estate association work. She was elected President of the St. Louis Association of Realtors, as well as receiving the “Realtor of The Year” and the “Distinguished Service Award” from the 7,000 member organization. She earned her CRB designation and CRP designation early in her career. In 2008, Sarah merged her company, Edward L. Bakewell, Inc., with Janet McAfee, Inc. to form the largest independent residential real estate company in St. Louis. Having purchased land and building a home in 2000 on the island of Kauai, Sarah pursued her life-long dream to return to the place where she was born and raised. She moved back to Kauai full time in 2012, where she procured her Hawai‘i real estate broker’s license. Now as Director of Corporate Services for Hawai‘i Life Real Estate Brokers, Sarah can leverage her years of experience with the fastest growing residential real estate company in the State of Hawai‘i (surpassing $1,5 Bil. in sales). Her goal is to create the premier real estate services available for corporate clients, customers, and associates of Hawai‘i Life. She currently lives on the island of Oahu to be closer to her work.

3 CHIEF SUSAN BALLARD Chief of Police, Honolulu Police DepartmentChief Susan Ballard became the Honolulu Police Department’s 11th Chief of Police, and Honolulu’s first female Chief of Police, on November 1, 2017. Chief Ballard joined the Honolulu Police Depart-ment in 1985 and has worked in a wide range of field and administrative assignments. As a commander, she led the District 5 and District 4 patrol districts, Finance Division, Training Division, Research and Development Division (currently Information Technology Division), Informational Resources Section (currently Community Affairs Division), and the Central Receiving Division. Chief Ballard believes in the department’s mission statement of Serving and Protecting with Aloha. She envisions the community and the HPD working together to make Oahu safe for its nearly one million residents and five times as many visitors. Her priorities include rebuilding public trust, preventing and solving crime, and recruiting quality employees. She is also committed to expanding police programs for the young and elderly. Born in Virginia and raised in North Carolina, Chief Ballard has a Master of Arts degree in health and physical education from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Appalachian State University.

6 KATIE BUCK CEO, E.A. BuckKatie is CEO of E.A. Buck Financial Services. Under her leadership, E.A. Buck is bringing services traditionally only available to high-net worth clients, to working families. The firm works with nearly 2,300 Hawai‘i families composed of teachers, nurses, state workers and other professions that keep the world running. For many years, Katie and her team have been hosting all-women workshops, focusing less on charts and graphs and instead on discussion about the more “emotional” side of financial concerns. Outside of the office, Katie and her husband, Jeff are parents to seven children, five of whom are adopted.

7 CATHERINE CAMP Director of Planning & Development, Commercial Real Estate Division, Kamehameha SchoolsCathy has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience and is employed by Kamehameha Schools. As the Director of Planning & Development in the Commercial Real Estate Division she is responsible for the planning and successful execution of development projects in key strategic markets comprising over 2.6 million square feet. Prior to Kamehameha Schools, Cathy was with A&B Properties and had development oversight for many of A&B’s real estate projects and associated construction activities ensuring financial targets were met from development through stabilization. Cathy also served on the National Board of Directors for NAIOP and is past president of the Hawai‘i Chapter. She is a member of the Management Committee for Urban Land Institute (ULI) Hawai‘i and is on the Board of Directors for Child & Family Services, Girl Scouts of Hawai‘i, and Palama Settlement. She also enjoys working with and mentoring young professionals and offers the following advice: a) if you don’t go after what you want you will never have it, b) if you don’t ask, the answer will always be no, c) if you don’t step forward you will always be in the same place!

8 SHARI CHANG Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts of Hawai’iShari Chang, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Hawai’i, is a 35-year veteran of hospitality marketing and a highly recognized marketer in Hawai‘i instrumental in the vision and creative development driving numerous high-profile and award-winning global marketing campaigns. Chang is using her business and marketing background to help guide the local expansion of the world’s largest leadership development program for girls. “Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of Aloha Airlines and senior vice president of the Castle Group. Chang has been recognized for seven consecutive years as one of the most powerful women in travel nationwide by Travel Agent magazine. She was named Destination Marketer of the year in 2009 and served as Chair of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority. She recently was honored by Pacific Business News 2017 Women Who Mean Business as an Industry Leader and was a finalist for Hawai‘i Business Woman of the Year in the for-profit category in 2014 and 2013. Chang is a member of the International Women’s Leadership Federation, a premier women’s networking organization and serves on several nonprofit boards.

9 MONA CHOY-BEDDOW Senior Vice President and Hawai‘i Regional Manager, HomeStreet BankMona Choy-Beddow is the Senior Vice President and Hawai‘i Regional Manager for HomeStreet Bank, responsible for leading the Retail Banking operations in Hawai‘i, including the largest branch among HomeStreet’s 61 branches throughout the West. Her commitment to serving the community is demonstrated through numerous business and non-profit leadership roles including her role as an executive committee member of the Hawai‘i Bankers Association and Treasurer of Hawai‘i First for Continuity. Mona is a founding member of the YWCA’s Patsy Mink Center for Business & Leadership, Board of Director for Family Programs Hawai‘i, YMCA, Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i, The Organization of Women Leaders, and Rotarian in the Rotary Club of West Honolulu. She is a Past President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawai‘i and the Chinese Chamber Foundation, and is a newly elected Trustee of the United Chinese Society. 10 CHENOA FARNSWORTH Managing Partner, Blue StartupsFarnsworth is the managing partner of Blue Startups, a top 20 U.S. Accelerator (Techcrunch), located in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. She also manages the Hawai‘i Angels investment network, which has invested over $40 million in startup companies. In 2006, she co-founded Kolohala Ventures, a Hawai‘i-based venture capital firm that invested $50 million into Hawai‘i-based technology start-ups. Prior to that she provided strategy development and business planning consultation for start-up companies and high-growth businesses through her company Farnsworth Consulting. Farnsworth has served the community as chair of the Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i, director of the Hawai‘i Venture Capital Association, director of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawai‘i, director of the Impact HUB Honolulu, and judge and coach for the University of Hawai‘i business plan competition. Farnsworth earned a BA in political science from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an executive MBA from the University of Hawai‘i.

11 ELISIA FLORES Vice Chairman & CFO, L&L Hawaiian BarbecueElisia Flores is the vice chairman and chief financial officer for L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Previously, she was the senior finance manager for the west region of General Electric’s power generation services business and a corporate auditor at GE consulting on domestic and international audit assignments. Elisia is a member of the board of directors for American Savings Bank and in the community, she serves on the board of Diamond Head Theatre, the Hawaiian Humane Society and the Hawai‘i Restaurant Association and on the advisory boards of the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership, the KCC Culinary Arts Program, the UH Family Business Center of Hawai‘i.

12 TERI FUJII Managing Partner, CW Associates, CPAsTerri Fujii is the managing partner and an audit partner at CW Associates, CPAs. Previously, Fujii was the managing partner of the Ernst & Young LLP, Honolulu Office and a partner in its Assurance Services practice. She has over 30 years of experience in financial and internal audits, financial analysis and feasibility studies, cost management, organizational planning, operational reviews and corporate compliance issues. Fujii received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in ac-counting from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Shidler College of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Hawai‘i. She serves on the boards of Easter Seals Hawai‘i (past Chair and Treasurer); Hospice Hawai‘i (past Chair and current Treasurer), Aloha United Way (current Chair and past Treasurer), Hawai‘i Cancer Consortium (current Treasurer), Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (current board member), Goodwill Industries Hawai‘i (current board member) and Women Corporate Directors – Hawai‘i Chapter (current board member). She also serves as the chair of the Shidler College School of Accountancy Advisory Board, and as a member of the Shidler College advisory board. She previously served as Chair of the State Public Charter School Commission and currently serves on the board of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transit. Fujii currently is an instructor for intermediate and graduate ac-counting courses for the University of Hawai‘i, Shidler College of Business, School of Accountancy.

13 REAR ADMIRAL ALMA GROCKI Retired, US NavyRear Admiral Grocki was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. The first woman from Hawaii appointed to the United States Naval Academy, she graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree. During her first assignment to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a Non-nuclear Submarine Ship Superintendent, she also completed her Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire. RDML Grocki returned to Hawaii as the Pearl Harbor Naval Station Billeting Officer, then transferred to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, and was accepted into the Engineering Duty Officer community in 1985. There she served as the Ship Superintendent for several surface ships, and senior Ship Superintendent for numerous submarine availabilities. She became the first woman officer to accompany her repaired submarine on post-availability sea trials. She also served as the Shipyard Docking Officer and Nuclear Ship Superintendent for the decommissioning of multiple submarines. She retired after 35 years of service. Since retiring from the Navy, RDML Grocki serves as a Director on eight non-profit boards for organizations fo-cused on assisting veterans, supporting members of the sea services, preserving and increasing awareness of local military historic sites and increasing opportunities for STEM involvement and leadership for Hawaii’s youth.

14 KELLY HOEN Area General Manager, Outrigger Waikiki Beach ResortAs the area general manager for the Waikiki beachfronts, Kelly Hoen has oversight of sales strategy, market planning and revenue management for the two properties. She also serves as the general manager for Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, leading this property with an emphasis on innovation and technology, host training and operational excellence. Kelly brings more than two decades of luxury hotel experience to Outrigger, plus an impressive track record of success in repositioning hotels in Hawai‘i. Prior to joining Outrigger, she served as the general manager for prominent Hawai‘i hotels, including The MODERN HONOLULU, The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort and Princeville Resort, a Luxury Collection Resort. A third-genera-tion kama‘āina, Kelly grew up in Kailua on O‘ahu and graduated from La Pietra Hawai‘i School for Girls. She earned a BFA in English, fine arts and secondary education from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. A certified teacher, Kelly utilizes her training skills on host development and is reputed to be one of the best mentors in Hawai‘i’s hospitality industry. She is a member of the La Pietra board of trustees and a member of the board of directors for Aloha United Way and HLTA. Kelly was also past chairperson of the Hawai‘i Lodging and TourismAssociation board of directors. She is married to Tom Hoen and together they have raised four children. Her joys in work are watching people grow and learn as well as understanding the cultural connection of “the place” to the guest experience.

15 DEBORAH HUEBLER Director of Campus Services, University of Hawai’i at ManoaDeborah Huebler is the Director of Campus Services for the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is responsible for non-academic support programs including Campus Mail Services, Campus Solutions, Commuter and Fleet Services, Conference and Event Services, Food and Vending Services, H-Zone Retail, Public Safety, University Housing, and the University of Hawai‘i System Bookstores. She also manages the Campus Services centralized infrastructure for fiscal, HR, marketing/communications, and IT; and oversees an annual budget of almost $50 million. Deborah has been with the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa since 2008. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Development and Planned Giving at Aloha United Way. She earned her B.S. in Management from Arizona State University and graduated with honors from the Public Administration Master’s Program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Deborah serves as the communication director for the Japanese Women’s Society Foundation. She is also the immediate past president and 2019 conference chair for the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) West region; is vice chair of the national NACAS awards committee; and serves as a director on the national NACAS board. Deborah enjoys zombie fiction, especially AMC’s “The Walking Dead” series, and dreams of home renovation projects; but her favorite entertainment is spending time with husband Alfie and their furbaby family – cats Gigi, Lambert, Munches, and Orange Cat, and pups Kuma and Vegas.

16 LIA HUNT President & Chief Educational Officer, Goldwings Supply Service, IncLia has a lifetime experience in the aviation industry. From an early age, the airfield was her backyard while father Frank started an aircraft parts business called Goldwings Supply Service, Inc. She is a Baccalaureate graduate of Mid Pacific Institute and went on to Santa Clara University where she was a stand-out athlete leading the Broncos toward back to back championships in the West Coast Conference, earning honors all four years. Shortly after, she received her Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate and Private Pilot’s license; then spent several years competing professionally on the AVP Beach Volleyball Tour. She returned to Goldwings and in 2007 served as Director of Operations and Strategic Development. In 2015, she was named President and Goldwings received our 8(a), SB, WOSB, HUBZone and DBE certifications. This same year, Gold-wings was recognized as a finalist for Pacific Business News “Innovative Company of the Year”. Lia’s title of Chief Educational Officer reinforces our corporate culture, emphasizing education as a core asset. Lia with her husband Ian, daughter Gisele and son Sage reside in Honolulu, Hawai‘i and spend nearly every weekend in the ocean. She continues to serve the community by training beach volleyball players and is a board member of the University of Hawai‘i Family Business Center and the Honolulu Community College Department of Aeronautics. In 2017 she was a recipient of Pacific Business News “Women Who Mean Business” award.

17 ALICE INOUE Founder and Chief Happiness Officer, Happiness UniversityAlice Inoue is the founder and Chief Happiness Officer of Happiness University. She is an expert life guide, and author of seven nationally award-winning books on life wisdom, selfgrowth, and happiness. She has two columns, one in MidWeek titled “A Mindful Moment,” and one in Tuesday’s Star-Advertiser called “Positively Young.” Through Happiness U, she helps both com-panies and individuals develop positive mindsets to live more inspired in both their professional and private lives.

19 MICHELLE KARR-UEOKA Chef-Owner, MW RestaurantBorn and raised in Honolulu, Michelle graduated from Punahou School. While obtaining a degree in Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawai‘i, Michelle’s passion for cooking was ignited after an externship at Alan Wong’s. Pursuing her dream, Michelle furthered her training at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, during which she completed a stage at Daniel, and an externship at The French Laundry. She rejoined Alan Wong’s where she spent 6 years on the savory side. Moving again, back to New York, she staged at Thomas Keller’s Per Se, and it is here that she realized she wanted to be a pastry chef. In 2012 Michelle received the Rising Star Chef Award from StarChefs.com as a Pastry Chef. In October 2013, Michelle Karr-Ueoka and husband Chef Wade Ueoka opened their first joint venture, MW Restaurant in Honolulu where they specialize in Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine. Both have traveled around the world, and draw inspiration from their journeys, but none bigger than the melting pot of Hawai‘i, and its exotic local bounty. In February 2014, MW Restaurant was nominated by the James Beard Foundation in the category of Best New Restaurant, and Michelle Karr-Ueoka in the category of Outstanding Pastry Chef. Believing in giving back to the community, Michelle has joined multiple local Non-Profit Organizations such as Localicious, HCEF (Hawai‘i Culinary Education Foundation), and HAPA Hawai‘i Foundation. Michelle has also joined her mentor, Chef Thomas Keller, as a Ment’or Culinary Council Member.

20 GRACE KEOHOHOU HAO President & Co-Founder, Coach Excellence SchoolGrace Keohohou Hao co-founded the Coach Excellence School in 2007. After being exposed to entrepreneurship her entire life, Grace is now grateful to be reaching leaders in more than 30 countries through her speaking, writing and educational programs. Grace is a co-author of several Best-Selling Books including, Build it Big, More Build it Big and Mom Entrepreneur Extraordinaire. 21 MA RY KIM Principal, G70Ma Ry Kim, one of the state’s most coveted international architects, joined G70 in 2014 as a principal and design director. The former Gensler Europe regional design director is recognized for multiple award-winning projects worldwide and was fundamental in helping to create the architectural giant’s brand identity offer in Europe. At the time she was in London, she was the youngest and only female partner at Gensler and has worked in Russia, Siberia, and the Middle East. She has taught as a professor as several universities and was most recently the director of professional studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa school of Architecture. Kim earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California, studied in France at the Centre D’Etudes D’Architecture Et Urbanism, and in London at the Architectural Association School of Architecture where she qualified as an architect in professional practice. She is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Architects Registration Board, England. Most recently, Kim assumed the role of Managing Partner of Development for Thoroughbred Hawai‘i, a private equity firm under The Thoroughbred Group. She heads new development and investments in Hawai‘i and the Pacific Rim. The mother of five was born in Korea, raised in Kihei and Kailua, and graduated from Kailua High School. Kim spent 20 years away on the mainland and in Europe and returned to Kailua in 2010 with her children. 22 BRENDA KUMABE Chief Operating Officer, Cades Schutte, LLPBrenda Kumabe is Chief Operating Officer of Cades Schutte, Hawai‘i’s largest full-service law firm. She has served in leadership positions at several organizations in Hawai‘i, including serving as Vice President and Director of Technology Contract Operations at American Savings Bank and Chief Financial and Development Officer for the Palolo Chinese Home. Kumabe holds a CPA designation and earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Hawai‘i-Mānoa.

23 BOBBIE LAU Senior General Manager, The Howard Hughes CorporationBobbie Lau (B), CPM is the Senior General Manager at the Howard Hughes Corporation and leads the asset management, property management, and operations at Ward Village. Bobbie has over twenty years of experience in commercial real estate and was previously Senior Vice President at Colliers, responsible for the Property Management Division. She graduated from the Kamehameha Schools, received her BA in Business Communications from the University of Hawai‘i and her MBA in Finance from Hawai‘i Pacific University. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and licensed real estate broker. 31 SUSAN MURRAY Senior Vice President & COO, The Queen’s Medical Center-West OahuSusan serves as The Queen’s Health Systems Senior Vice President of the West O‘ahu Region and the Chief Operating Officer for The Queen’s Medical Center – West O‘ahu, overseeing operations and providing leadership in the growth and development of the 20-acre campus, which has a licensed bed capacity of 134 acute beds. She has worked to establish a positive and effective relationship with the West O‘ahu community and is developing a region-wide strategic master plan. 33 CAYENNE PE‘A Principal, Alaka’i DevelopmentCayenne Pe’a is a principal and co-founder at Alaka‘i Development, a residential development firm whose mission is to meet the need of Hawaii’s housing shortage by developing quality rental residences. Projects in Alaka‘i Development’s pipeline include The Element, a 340-unit rental community in West Oahu, and a mixed-use rental community with an elementary school in Kakaako, Oahu. The principals of Alaka‘i Development recently completed the lease up of Kapolei Lofts, a 499-unit rental community developed by Forest City Hawaii, and the subsequent sale to The Blackstone Group. Sawyer is the District Director of the Hawai‘i District office of the U.S. Small Business Administration, providing programs and services to small businesses in a territory includes the State of Hawai‘i as well as American Samoa, Guam and other affiliated Pacific Islands. Sawyer oversees all activities of the federal agency, including loans and lending relations, business training and counseling assistance, and federal contracting programs and certifications. Through the Hawai‘i District Office, SBA provides financial assistance to new and existing small businesses, working with over 22 lending partners to assure capital is available on reasonable terms. SBA provides small firms with access to contracting opportunities with federal government valued at millions of dollars, exceeding small business contracting targets set by Congress. The federal agency has connected thousands of existing and nascent owners and entrepreneurs with training, information and a wide variety of tools and resources. Sawyer joined SBA in 1993 as the Assistant District Director for Business Development to manage the public communications, marketing, consulting, mentoring, training and technical assistance programs such as the Small Business Development Center Networks, SCORE, Women’s Business Centers, State Trade and Export Pro-motion programs and other special initiatives to support entrepreneurial and business ventures. 36 SU SHIN Chief of Staff, Hawaiian Telcom Su Shin was promoted to Chief of Staff in July 2018. Prior to this, Shin, a seasoned senior strategic commu-nications executive with more than two decades of experience, served as Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, responsible for all marketing execution and communications functions, including traditional/offline and online advertising, direct marketing, website manage-ment and development, social media, as well as strategic internal and external communications.
