Project ImpactPublic awareness about mental illness and the project
have increased from 24 to 53 percent.
In addition…• Awareness is increasing! People are recalling messaging about mental illness in general, identifying Sacramento County DBHS as a source and recognizing the tagline “it’s not always what you think”
• Shame and stigma are still serious barriers• Willingness to discuss mental illness and to recommend someone they know seek help continually increased
