Mental Health Ireland Photography Competition 2014-15 Guidelines for entry 1. The theme is ‘Mental Health Begins With Me’ 2. The submission should reflect the student’s vision of what mental health means to them. 3. The competition is open to all students attending Post-Primary Schools. 4. There is no entry fee. 5. All entries must be individual entries – group work will not be accepted. 6. Only one entry allowed per student 7. Entries from digital or film cameras are welcomed. 8. All entries must be submitted in print and digitally 9. File sizes must be 2mb and sent as jpeg files. Image must be saved as student’s name. 10. Printed photos must be 12x8 inch prints. 11. The following information must be included on the reverse side of each print and be contained in the body of the email of the digital copy: Student’s name and age, school name, teacher’s name and address. 12. Each entrant agrees to their details (name and age) being used in promotional material for Mental Health Ireland 13. Entries for the competition will automatically become the property of Mental Health Ireland and may be returned on request. 14. Entries must be submitted in flat format and cannot be folded or rolled. 15. If the photograph features any recognisable person or people, written permission must be obtained from them (or their parents if under 16) for the image to be considered. Written permission must be included acknowledging that this image is now the property of Mental Health Ireland and may be used on our website and social media channels. 16. Closing date for entries is Friday 6 th March 2015. 17. All entries should be sent to Photography Competition Mental Health Ireland 2 Marine Tce Dun Laoghaire Co Dublin And emailed to [email protected] with subject: MHI Photo Competition Entry. 18. Entries will be adjudicated on a provincial and then national basis. 19. Judging will be carried out by representatives of Mental Health Ireland and our decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
