Good timing... Hi Samuel I found your contact details on LinkedIn. If you are not the right person to talk to about Men’s Weight Management services, could you please forward the email on to the appropriate person? Many thanks. I am making contact as I want to introduce you to MAN v FAT (www.manvfat.com) and the specialised weight management services we provide for Public Health Teams. MAN v FAT is a unique weight loss project that is aimed exclusively at men. We provide a range of specialist insight, outreach, social media, training and support for Public Health Teams trying to engage and support men to improve their health and wellbeing with respect to weight loss, physical activity and healthy eating. Our own research has revealed that men feel desperately let down by the existing routes they are presented by the diet industry, employers and health officials. We have spoken with almost 4,000 overweight/obese men around the country and have identified key local and national insights on the factors influencing men’s health behaviours, including identifying what might motivate or prevent them from making lifestyle changes and engaging in health improvement interventions. We have generated many practical insights on what type of weight management support men in your target audience would prefer and have gauged reaction to models used elsewhere. We have developed several community and peer to peer services, establishing appropriate approaches, settings, channels and messages for different segments within your target audience. If you would like to find out more about how MAN v FAT can help you to engage and support men lose weight, please do get in touch. Many thanks and kind regards Paul -- Paul RossiterTraining Director07968 797 109www.manvfat.com
