    hardest part of what I do. I manage

    over 50 employees, which requires

    constant training to make sure we

    are always trying to do better than

    room for improvement when you are

    in the hospitality business.

    tomer or memory: My most favorite

    on the job moment was the surprise

    engagement and wedding to my

    wife, April, at our annual New Years

    Eve Ball! Not only was it a surprise for

    her but also for all the guests! The

    weddings we cater also touch my

    heart. Its the smile and a hug from

    the bride after they and their family

    have spent the weekend with us that

    is most rewarding. Thats when I

    know the team did a great job.

    How do you spend your spare

    time: Theres not much spare time in

    the hospitality business. My wife

Thedam was destroyed in a 2005 flood andthe new dam was completed in 2009.Thanks to our fundraising, the loanwas paid off in 2014. I enjoyed workingwith a great group of hardworking vol-unteers in our fund raisers. This includ-ed Briscoe Lake Dam yard sales,dances and Chuck Wagon Breakfasts atthe lake, to name a few. I would like tothank everyone who donated time anditems for this great cause.

    Hobbies: I enjoy woodworking, mak-ing furniture, stained glass and taking

    photos of wildlife around Briscoe Lake.Favorite vacation spot: Lancaster Pa.
