MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. ___002____ Series of 2015 TO : ALL PAOOFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES SUBJECT : AMENDED DRESS CODE FOR PAO FEMALE EMPLOYEES 1.0 PURPOSE This Circular is issued to provide for an amendeddress codeto

be worn by all PAO female employees together with its implementing guidelines in accordance with existing CSC issuances relative thereto.

2.0 AMENDED DRESS CODE OF OFFICE ATTIRE FOR ALL PAO

FEMALE EMPLOYEES

SKIRT AND BLOUSE COMBINATION - Color of blouse shall be white, cream, flesh, champagne or ecru. - Blouse shall be with collar and sleeves. - Any color of skirt is allowed as long as it is plain and single

color. - Any cut for the skirt is allowed. - Length of skirt shall be knee-length or below the knee. - No slit which exposes the thigh area shall be allowed. - Any color (plain or printed) blazer is allowed with the skirt and

blouse combination. - Any color of shoes is allowed as long as it is closed and single

color.

DRESS AND BLAZER COMBINATION - Any color of dress is allowed as long as it is plain and single

color. - Length of dress shall be knee-length or below the knee - When wearing a dress it shall be accompanied by a blazer. - Only a plain white / dirty white / cream blazer with collar is

allowed to be wornwith the dress.

- Any color of shoes is allowed as long as it is closed and single color.

3.0 SLACKS / PANTS NO LONGER ALLOWED

Wearing of slacks / pants shall no longer be allowed to all PAO female employees except where the employee concerned has requested for an exemption under some valid reasons, such as physical disability, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender), etc.

4.0 OFFICE ATTIRE FOR ALL PAO MALE EMPLOYEES

All PAO male employees shall continuously observe the color coding schedule specified under Memorandum Circular No. 002, Series of 2013, as indicated below: - Color of polo barong/polo shall be white, cream, flesh, champagne

or ecru. - Color of pants/slacks shall be black, dark brown or dark gray. - Color of shoes shall be plain black or dark brown. - Printed polo barong/polo is not allowed. - Any embroidered design on a polo barong/polo is allowed. - Male employees may wear a color coded long or short sleeves polo

but it shall be worn with an appropriate necktie. Wearing of a coat is optional.

5.0 REPEALING CLAUSE

All prior issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked/amended/modified accordingly.

6.0 EFFECTIVITY This Circular shall take effect May 4, 2015 and shall remain in

force until further orders.

The concerned Regional Public Attorney, Regional Officer-in-Charge, District Public Attorney, District Officer-in-Charge and Administrative Officer V/ or designee of each region shall be responsible for the proper dissemination of this Circular in their respective jurisdiction. They are also enjoined to post this issuance at their respective bulletin board and office premises.
