    Mrs. Lee and I completed the Media evaluation rubric for 2014-2015 school year. I havecreated a table to show my findings.

    Students will be giveninstruction in accessingGALILEO. Thepassword will beprovided in a timelymanner.

    The media specialistwill create an onlinemodule that willinstruct faculty andstudents aboutGALILEO. This

    will allow teachersto show the moduleto the students.

    Library providesGeorgia students andteachers access toexceptional on-lineresources at no cost tothe local school district.

    14. The local systemsuperintendent shallappoint a system mediacontact person (SMCP)to serve as a liaison tothe department.

    A system media contactperson (SMCP) isappointed andcommunication fromthe SMCP is receivedand posted for allLibrary MediaSpecialists and staff.

    The media coordinatoror curriculumcoordinator may serveas the SMCP to facilitate

    communication to andfrom DOE.

    The SMCP willcreate a yearlycalendar with setdates of verticalalignment meetings.

    The SMCP will alsosend out weeklymemo tocommunicate withthe districts LibraryMedia Specialist

    19. Staff developmentopportunities areavailable both for thelibrary media staff toenhance their ownprofessional knowledgeand for the librarymedia staff to provideinformation andtechnology literacyskills to other teachersand administrative staff.Professional resourcesand services for allfaculty members areprovided in the librarymedia center for the"learning community".

    Library Media Specialistparticipates in staffdevelopment optionsand provides informalstaff developmentinstruction duringcollaborative planning

    with teachers. Currentprofessional resourcesare maintained in thelibrary media center ifthe district does notprovide a centralizedprofessional resourcecenter.

    The media specialistwill attend yearlytechnologyconferences 0andredeliver theinformation.

    I have also created a table to display an area that is currently proficient and it could easilybecome exemplary with my action plan.
