2. The silt curtain (near newly built Barging Point) was damaged by barge again after the remedial works last Friday. The Contractor agreed to repair it as soon as the replacement material of silt curtain arrives. The Contractor would discuss with the operators of barges on 8/6/05 about proper measures to prevent silt curtain from being damaged by barges.

Subcontractor waited for material delivery. Silt curtain will be repaired once material available.

3. Accumulated silt was observed in the pump pit of the oil interceptor. The Contractor was reminded to remove the silt.

heavy shower. The Contractor was reminded to ensure the pump was adequate to deliver the wastewater to the oil interceptor and desilting tank for treatment. (Photo 1)

The discharge rate of the pump was affected by siltation. The siltation has been removed so the pump was function properly.

2. The silt curtain (near newly built Barging Point) was not repaired yet as the replacement material of silt curtain was not yet arrived. Besides, large amount of silty water was discharged from the Fill Bank and SENT Landfill into the TKO Basin. (Photo 2)

3. The cover of the air compressor should be closed during operation at the workshop area.
