We, the Grand Lodge, … in order to form perfect fraternal union, to establish order, to insure tranquility, to provide for and promote the general welfare of the craft, and to secure the fraternity in the Province of Ontario all the blessings of Masonic privileges do order and establish this Constitution.

• RETAIN - To retain the interest of those brethren who have been Masons for less than one year.

• REVITALIZE - To revitalize and maintain the interest of those brethren who attend lodge on a regular or irregular basis.

• RENEW - To renew the interest of those brethren who no longer attend lodge.

• Lodge is located north of Toronto• One of the oldest lodges in the area• Community

– Farming– Bedroom community to GTA

Did not keep up with our changing world, it has caused it to grow old

Were not successful in encouraging new members to the Craft

• Master Elect holds a meeting before his installation to discuss:– Financial– Degrees outstanding– Building– Dues outstanding

– Set up committees for the year– Review officer duties for the year– Present a trestle board– Send letters to district(s) asking to

host special event– All officers evaluated 3 months before

installation

• Repairs/renovations - Kitchen, Washroom, Roof, Floor, Electrical Panel, Air Conditioning, Natural Gas, Exterior Siding, Painting, Windows, Cleaner, Ashlars

• New - Stationery (Letterhead and Business Cards), collect Members Dues, Updated Bylaws, increased attendance, new Stairs, Money in the bank
