AERC Board of Directors• The voting Board members consist of:
– Seven seats for public interest representatives, including but not limited to non-profit energy efficiency/environmental/consumer organizations, research institutions, national laboratories, and government agencies
– Five seats for the window attachments industry manufacturers of finished fenestration attachment products, representing all of the major attachment product groups (Producer)
– One seat for window attachments component manufacturers, including (Non-Producer)
– BOD will have majority public interest representation to ensure that AERC operates to serve the public good

AERC Board of Directors• The Board of Directors is responsible for the final decision making
of all policies, programs, and procedures of the council. • The Board has ultimate operational and execution responsibilities
for the AERC, and will form and charter committees to drive the creating of the ratings, labeling, and certification program.
• The AERC Board provides the strategic direction and vision for AERC and ensures that all policies and programs are aligned with the AERC mission and mandate.
• All AERC members are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
