Purpose
The purpose of this training tool is designed to assist the user in the reproduction and management of a standardized electronic format, which
can be utilize throughout the Maryland Jurisdiction.
Instruction process
Step 1
1. Open blank document labeled MLF.
2. Document will be displayed.

3. Move cursor to the top of the page and left click on “Edit”.
4. Scroll down the list until you see “Move or Copy Sheet”.
5. Left click it. A new box will open up.6. Move the cursor to the sheet you
want to reproduce and left click it.7. Next click the little box that says
“Create a copy”.

8. Now left click the ok button.9. A new tab will be displayed with the
document you chose to reproduce.

Emailing ProcessPROCEDURE – Option 1
• By using your mouse, Position the cursor over the tab which displays the members’ name to be
emailed and hold down the left button on the mouse.
• Drag the document to the front of the other ledgers and release it.
• Using your mouse position the cursor on the tab to the right of the tab to be emailed.
• Left click the mouse button.
• Hold down the “Shift” button.
• Move to the last MLF that is in your registry and left click it still holding the shift button.
• This will highlight all the files except the one to be emailed.
• Click the right button on your mouse. A menu will open up.
• Scroll to “Delete” and select it.
• All previous documents will disappear.
• Move your cursor to the windows file icon and left click.
• Scroll down to the word “Send” and select “Send email”.
Emailing Process• PROCEDURE – Option 2
• Open the MLF and select the tab of the member you are emailing.
• By using your mouse, Position the cursor to the “Blank” cell in the left hand corner between
cells A (horizontal cell- top left of screen) and 1 (vertical cell-left of screen) and left click it. The
entire document will be highlighted.
• By using your mouse, Position the cursor to the top of the screen and select the windows menu
icon.
• Left click on “new or new document”. A new blank document will be displayed.
• By using your mouse, Position the cursor to the “Blank” cell in the left hand corner between
cells A (horizontal cell- top left of screen) and 1 (vertical cell-left of screen) and left click it. The
entire document will be highlighted.
• Click the right button on your mouse and new menu will open up.
• Scroll to “paste” and left click on it. The document is now ready to send to the member.
Printing Process
PROCEDURE
• By using your mouse, position the cursor on the windows menu icon (top left corner) and click
the left button.
• Scroll down the menu until you see “print”. A sub menu will open to the right.
• Select “print” by clicking the left button on the mouse.
• The print menu will open.
• Verify that the correct printer is selected.
• Position your cursor towards the middle left of the menu where you will see “print what”.
• Ensure the “active sheet” option is checked. This will allow for you to print one MLF sheet.
• Now select print.
