Name Date The Melitta ® bar-cube is delivered ready for connection. However, before setting up the necessary connections must be installed on site easily accessible within a radius of 1m. This preliminary work must be performed by licensed professionals in strict compliance with valid regulations. The Melitta ® customer service is not authorized for and does not take any responsibility for the installation. The machine must be placed on a level tabletop. The supply lines must be routed up from below. A hole of approx. Ø 120 mm (1) must be drilled in the tabletop under each machine as feed-through for connecting hoses and electric supply lines. For machines with container drop (optional) another hole with approx. 120 mm Ø (2) must be drilled. *With the fitted feet the machines can be raised by approx. 15 mm. A special connection hose is supplied. For safety reasons, this hose must not be shortened. Fresh water pressure: min. 0.25 MPa (2.5 bar) at approx. 2 l/min., if it is more than 0.6 MPa (6 bar) static, a pressure regulator is required. Carbonate hardness of tap water: 1° dKH - 3º dKH no action required, from 4° dKH decarbonizer (Brita-Purity) required, below 1° dKH you should contact Melitta® SystemService. Waste water connection: min. DN25-NW1" The Melitta ® bar-cube is equipped with a socket for drainage of the trip dray and is to be connected to the on-site drain using the supplied hose. The required odour trap can be supplied by Melitta® customer service.
