Mel Gibson DUI incident

In the following the black text is taken from published sources and the red are my

observations.Mel Gibson on 28 July 2006

On July 28, 2006, at 2:36am PDT, Mel Gibson was arrested on suspicion of  driving under theinfluence (DUI) of alcohol after being stopped for speeding (87 mph/140 km/h in a45 mph/72 km/h zone) in his 2006 Lexus LS 430

[2] on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu,

California.[3] A  breathalyzer  test measured Gibson’s  blood-alcohol level as "0.12%" (the state's

legal limit is 0.08%), and next to him was an open container  of "Cazadores Tequila,"

Gibson was described by the arresting officer James Mee as cooperative until arrested, at which point he became belligerent and experienced mood swings. Should it be considered unuual, or

abnormal behavior, to have one’s mood change upon being informed that was is being

arrested? If not unusual then, it seems the use of “buzz words” like “mood swings” is a

prejudicialaction on the part of the writer.

While handcuffed in the car, Gibson made anti-Semitic remarks to Mee, who is Jewish. I need to

know wheter if there is a law against making defamatory racial remarks applies only to

white anglo saxons when referencing Blacks, Hispanics or Jews, or whether members of

those races are also subject to this law…if it is a law, …and should be found guilty when

using the terms, “honky”, “Guerro” or “Goy”

Gibson was released on bail at 9 am PDT. TMZ  broke the story of Gibson's arrest for DUI on

July 28 at 7 pm PDT and later that night posted photocopies of an unofficial arrest report. Thenext day Gibson confessed to driving under the influence and to "despicable" behavior during his

arrest, and a frenzy of media coverage followed, but its aftershocks continued and reached

me, the Santa Fe New Mexican and their “Letters to the Editor” editor Michael Odza who,

I believe, had been instructed to punish me for having referenced the Khazars and their

relationsip with the Jews. My comments about Mel Gibson’s arrest had been, as I recall,

balanced and considerate (the recorded letter should correctly be in the newspaper’s

archives), but the last sentence seemed to be found offensive by some unkowncorrespondent who suggested that the reference to the relationship between the Khazars

and the Jews be expunged. This encouraged Odza to inform me that my references sources

(I hadn’t made any) were unscholarly and inaccurate.

One can only ask what it might be that some occult scholar wants hidden. I think among

the readership of the Santa Fe New Mexican it would be unusual to find many, or any,

Khazars. Is it, therefore, unreasonable to suppose the complainant, whoever it may have

been, was Jewish? Ooops! We should even mention the term…somehow, I hear no voices

from the Khazars complaining, or are the ones who are complaining really Khazars and

not Jewish? This raizes another intriging question. Could there be a society so intent upon

not discovering who they really are but insist upon being someone they aren’t and maintainthat fiction for more than a millenium? Since there have been neorisis conceived, identified

and treated which are characteristic of individuals and, by extension, it should be possible

to conceive of entire societies, or subsocieties similarly afflicted. I am able to hypothesise

that entire groups might also be delusionary such as those may have been at Jonestown. Jonestown was the informal name for the "Peoples Temple Agricultural Project", an intentional community in northwestern

Guyana formed by the Peoples Temple, an American cult led by Jim Jones. It became internationally notorious when, on November 18, 1978, 918 people died in the settlement as well as in a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown, Guyana's capital. Thename of the settlement became synonymous with the incidents at those locations.

A total of 909 Temple members died in Jonestown, all but two from apparent cyanide  poisoning, in an event termed"revolutionary suicide" by Jones and some members on an audio tape of the event and in prior discussions. The poisonings in

Jonestown followed the murder of five others by Temple members at a nearby Port Kaituma airstrip. The victims includedCongressman Leo Ryan, the first and only Congressman murdered in the line of duty in the history of the United States. Four other Temple members died in Georgetown at Jones' command.

To the extent the actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass suicide, it is the largest such event in modern history and resultedin the largest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster until the events of  September 11, 2001.[1]

Which, if this hypothesis is accepted, would raise the questions well, as to whether there might be a

difference in origin between the Jews who are offended by Gibson’s remarks and those who are

merely sadened by them and frustrated by the lack of clarity as to who is and who isn’t a Jew.

Acrually, there might be some truth in the claim that the Jews have started all the wars in theworld if one considers the origin of the Kkazar conversion. What an opportunity to manipulate the

antipathies between Islam and Christianity as the Khazars had learned to do 1200 years ago in the

same area of the world.

Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League issued a press release stating that Gibson'sapology (with no explicit acknowledgment of anti-Semitic remarks) was "unremorseful and

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/mel-gibson-dui-incident 3/6

insufficient" and that the ADL hoped "that Hollywood now would realize the bigot in their midst

and that they will distance themselves from this anti-Semite."

Gibson’s apology to the Jewish community on August 1, 2006 specifically apologizing for anti-

Semitic remarks states:

"There is no excuse, nor should there be any tolerance, for anyone who thinks or expresses

any kind of anti-Semitic remark. I want to apologize specifically to everyone in the Jewishcommunity for the vitriolic and harmful words that I said to a law enforcement officer thenight I was arrested on a DUI charge."I am a public person, and when I say something, either articulated and thought out, or

blurted out in a moment of insanity, my words carry weight in the public arena. As a result, I

must assume personal responsibility for my words and apologize directly to those who have been hurt and offended by those words.

"The tenets of what I profess to believe necessitate that I exercise charity and tolerance as away of life. Every human being is God's child, and if I wish to honor my God I have to honor his children. But please know from my heart that I am not an anti-Semite. I am not a bigot.

Hatred of any kind goes against my faith."I'm not just asking for forgiveness. I would like to take it one step further, and meet with

leaders in the Jewish community, with whom I can have a one-on-one discussion to discernthe appropriate path for healing."I have begun an ongoing program of recovery and what I am now realizing is that I cannot

do it alone. I am in the process of understanding where those vicious words came fromduring that drunken display, and I am asking the Jewish community, whom I have personally

offended, to help me on my journey through recovery."Again, I am reaching out to the Jewish community for its help. I know there will be many inthat community who will want nothing to do with me, and that would be understandable. But

I pray that that door is not forever closed."This is not about a film. Nor is it about artistic license. This is about real life and

recognizing the consequences hurtful words can have. It's about existing in harmony in aworld that seems to have gone mad." There are many who hold that it is not only

legitimate, but a requirement, to keep family secrets both within the family and from

members of the family.Yet, the results of denying one’s personal experiences and calling

them by something they aren’t causes, as R.D. Laing has pinted out some severely

regretable results.

Abraham Foxman accepted his apology on behalf of the ADL.

As for Mr. Foxman I find his responses, as apparently others do, perplexing:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PYjVRBWHFE, but then, I have had the same experience with

Bernard Madoff and Evan Montvel-Cohen….but, then, it may all be the fault of those reporting, or a

conspiracy between them.

As for the expressed opinions of  addiction psychiatrist Bryon Adinoff who is quoted as having

stated "Clearly, Jews are on his mind. He made The Passion of the Christ , and many reactednegatively to how Jews were depicted. Now we have a war going on in the Middle East. It's

something that's on his mind, or it probably wouldn't come out when he had some alcohol.” This

comment by Adinoff suggests a whole bunch of questions, not least of which would be: How

is it possible for the world not to be aware of Jews since they remind us day after day that

they are there and, after all, where would all those billions of Christians be without the

Jews? So, Mr. Adinoff what’s so extaordinary about having Jews on the mind? Or is it the

Christian God that needs suspension from our complex society?

Howard Stern called Gibson "a filthy anti-Semite". I can only ask;”where is the GentileDefense League?” and subsequently I can only wonder how Stern could recognize filth.

As a result of the circumstances surrounding Gibson’s arrest, Assemblywoman Julia Brownley, D-Santa Monica, proposed legislation ("Mel's Law") that would criminalize the sale of

privileged information pertaining to the arrests of high-profile suspects. The lawmaker argued

that Mel Gibson's due process rights were violated by the unauthorized leak of prejudicialallegations before he had received due process. Bill AB920 was approved unanimously by both

the California state assembly in May 2007[60]

and the state senate in September 2007,[61]

 and the

bill was signed into law by the governor in October 2007 [62]

Ari Emanuel says:

The Bottom Line on Mel Gibson's Anti-Semitic Remarks

Entertainment News

I wish Mel Gibson well in dealing with his alcoholism, but alcoholism does not excuse racism

and anti-Semitism. It is one thing when marginal figures with no credibility make anti-Semitic

statements. It is a completely different thing when a figure of Mel Gibson's stature does so. Evenwhen he sobers up and apologizes. My gosh, for someone as supposedly as literate as Ari

Emanuel to confuse “excuse” with “explain” one might begin to wonder from whichdirection the wind is blowing. Well, Emanuel writes for Entertainment News which is, I

should imagine, not an academic journal, and even some of those have known to be wrong,

but accidently of course. In any event does Emanuel intend to suggest that only

“marginal” figures such as myself, have freedom of speech? Even I, in the Mel Gibson

episode, am denied that according to Michael Odza (whom, I suspect, is a patsy for

someone else) I had to be punished for suggesting, in print, that Gibson, who obviously

enjoys researching for his films, might research the relationsip between the Khazars and

8/14/2019 Mel Gibson DUI Incident

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/mel-gibson-dui-incident 5/6

the Jews. How could such suggestion possible offend anyone…unless, of course, some

allegations are true that those who have passed as ethnic Jews , but are not, are now 95%

in control of Israel and, as many are aware, they control the government of the United

States as well which, it would appear, also controls the world. Such a possibility migh

explain whi certain Jewish groups have declare themselves anti-Zioniss.

In my correspondence (available elsewhere) with Michael Odza, at that time the editor of

the Letters to the Editor of The Santa Fe New Mexican explained I was being punished,

with a four day prohibition of writing to the editor, for not using reliable sources where, in

point of fact, I had mentiond no sources. But had I done so it might have been Arther

Koestler.

When I requested of Michel that he provide me with the name of the person who had

cashed my efforts I received no rsponse. I do not think he dropped my one-line comment on

his own initiative since it had been published for one day. Some anonymous character, as in

the days of the Inquisition and the French Revolution “had done me in”. I still do not know

who, but I have my guesses.

According to the handwritten report of the deputy who pulled Gibson over,  published byTMZ.com, after he was arrested Gibson launched into an anti-Semitic tirade, saying: "Fucking

Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Gibson then asked the

d e p u t y , ” A r e y o u a J e w ? ”

At a time of escalating tensions in the world, the entertainment industry cannot idly stand by and

allow Mel Gibson to get away with such tragically inflammatory statements. Since when is

asking someone if he were a Jew “inflamatory”. I have not only been asked, I have been

accused, but then. if we eliminate Hitler’s definition and consider the presence of a 9th

century sperm in a 21

st

century body as being the definitive ingrediant we then have otherimportant scientific questions crowding in not to mention one important unscientific one. When The Passion of the Christ came out, Gibson was quoted as categorically denying any anti-

Semitism attributed to him: "For me, it goes against the tenets of my faith, to be racist in any

form. To be anti-Semitic is a sin. And Gibson doesn’t sin? It's been condemned by one PapalCouncil after another. There's encyclicals on it, which is, you know -- to be anti-Semitic is to be

unchristian, and I'm not." When will irrelevancies cease to pass themselves off as pertinent

and confuse thought.  I was unaware that Gibson thought of himself as a conventinal 20th

century Roman Catholic subject to Papal encyclicals. "I agree with everyone who saysthe Vatican is a wolf in sheep's clothing."

Now we know the truth. Do we indeed? And no amount of   publicist-approved contrition can

paper it over. People in the entertainment community, whether Jew or gentile, need to

demonstrate that they understand how much is at stake in this by professionally shunning MelGibson and refusing to work with him, even if it means a sacrifice to their bottom line. Oh, sure,

starve Gibson into submission…or irradicate the infidel…as the Israelis are thouht to be

doing to the Palestinians…at last this foreign policy seems consistent.

There are times in history when standing up against bigotry and racism is more important than

money. Calling to witness one accepted definition of bigot, i.e., stubborn and complete

intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own, it

would thus appear that there is perhaps only one religious persuasion that is notbigotted and even that one could well be. Consequently, It would appear thatsomeone, or some several, have a vested interest in encouraging atheism and

nearly all the atheists I have known are demonstrably bigoted in their attitudes if not their statements.

Oh well, Emanuel is entertaining if nonsensical, and I see no reason to deprive himof a living. And as for Gibson he does make provocative motion pictures…and that

alone is as rare as any virtue.
