The Bolshoi Ballet Live: Romeo and JulietThe tragic fate of the Shakespearean ‘star-crossed lovers’ provided the inspiration for Prokofiev’s magnificent ballet score, from the delicate Theme of Juliet to the ominous Dance of the Knights. Bolshoi stars Ekaterina Krysanova and Vladislav Lantratov bring to life Alexei Ratmansky’s exquisite choreography, a poignant evocation of love at first sight: For never was a story of more woe / Than this of Juliet and her Romeo.
