Raised on the east coast, she made her professional debut at Boston’s Huntington Theatre. Moving from Boston to New York City, she trained under world-renowned vocal coach, Kristin Linklater, and OBIE-winners, Andrei Serban and Anne Bogart. She performed in several Off- Broadway productions (and many Off-Off) and had the privilege to collaborate on an adaptation of James Baldwin’s “Another Country” with 2-time Tony nominee Diane Paulus. Las Vegas followed New York, where she performed in many nightclubs and lounges across the city. Now residing in Seattle, her local audiences have seen her with such theatres companies as Tacoma Actor’s Guild, On The Boards, Seattle Opera, Village Theatre, Consolidated Works, Theatre-Off-Jackson, and Centerstage. She has toured with Living Voices, Open Door Theatre and Idaho Shakespeare Company and has brought her unique vocal interpretations to a number of nightclubs, concert venues and festival stages. She has also been a featured performer with Seattle Women in Blues. As an actress, her favorite productions include the blues musical, “WE ARE NOT GOOD GIRLS” and the rock musical, “DIANA MOVES”. Recent leading roles include Mrs. Walker in the iconic Rock Opera TOMMY and Rachel Jackson in the West Coast Premiere of BLOODY, BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. Meg is currently on tour performing her one-woman tribute to Patsy Cline FOOLIN’ AROUND WITH PATSY CLINE. Meg is a core faculty member at Freehold Theatre in Seattle. More info at www.megmclynn.com
