With Windows Vista Home Basic Edition , users can only join a session and are unable to create a session.

When an application is shared, it only shares that window's area of the desktop. If another window is covering the application, Windows Meeting Space displays the area of the top window as black. To fix the problem, simply minimize the window not being shared.
