Presentation Of Agenda

Jun Xiang addressed the group with current progress. All to note

2 Actions from last minutes- All members done with downloading of QT creator and

understand how the platform works.

- Research on the components of System Test Plan done Joel,

Stephen

Implementation

The development continues with designing of UI and implementing

codes on the widgets of the interfaces.

- Implementation progress using storyboard mode.

- Due to unfamiliarity with QT development, the team took quite a

while to research for online codes and make reference from a book

Fundamental of QT Development.

- Design of UI has to be precise and careful due to having different

buttons and widgets with different ability to control the whole

program.

- Testing will be done using QTtest runner and unit testing.

Documents needed for testing are checklists, testingrequirements, test plan, testing implementation.

4 Current SituationProblem faced

-While trying to implement log in with QT Creator, Jia Hui keep

reinstalling the Ubuntu OS and QT creator software. Even with

correct coding, connection can be established but SQL commands

cannot get through.

Problem solved

Jun Xiang gave his OS image to Jia Hui and he implemented the

whole system again

Jun Xiang and Singhui have finish coding the user interface and

establish connection to sqlite.

Login is done and is currently on the stage of implementing

different functionalities.

Stephen found a suitable system test plan template and is

developing the test plan based on that.

Joel is constantly discussing with the implementers for the various

test cases that are to be included and excluded in the test plan.

Tasks delegated:

Implement codes for Administration which includes manageconstraint, manage range, manage user, manage role JunXiang.

Implement codes for Read in data-dictionaryand view logfiles Jia Hui.

Refining of UI include the widgets, templates and buttons;Handling of documentation Sing Hui

Thoroughly understand all the functions in the program andhow it works.These ensure that the test cases are well designed.
