THE OFFICE The Office is the biggest room in the Lloyd Hotel. The Office has preserved

the rich, classic atmosphere of the time when it served as the main office for

the Royal Dutch Lloyd shipping company. With original parquet flooring, oak-

panelled walls and brass chandeliers, The Office recalls the adventure and

elegance of the 1920s. The space welcomes conferences, dinners, wedding

receptions, and any other event that might benefit from its stately atmosphere.

The Office also adds a fashionably last-century edge to contemporary art

exhibitions, DJ nights, weddings and birthday parties. The Office is 92 m².

LLOYD ROOM Warm, comfortable, and sleek. The Lloyd room gives a personal touch

to (business) meetings and special meals. It is served by a dedicated

cloak room and the adjacent Salon. Abundant daylight spills in from a

bank of windows on the north facade. Colourful linen from the

Amsterdam design duo Scholten & Baijings lines one wall, offering a

spirited feeling to the space. The Lloyd room is 79 m²

THE SALON The Salon is a multifunctional, rectangular space at the front of the building

that is conveniently situated on the ground floor and has views of the Eastern

docklands. The Salon can be used for all kinds of purposes, such as

presentations, (small) meetings, drinks, and even private dinners for up to 75

people. The lighting and room setup can be adjusted and customized to

individual needs.

A small bar designed especially for The Salon can be placed in the room.

Opposite is the restaurant with a larger bar. Like all spaces in Lloyd Hotel, The

Salon breathes a sense of its history, a connection to its neighbourhood and

responsiveness to the culture of its guests. The Salon is 50 m².

ROOM 422 One of our most popular meeting rooms, Room 422 has a soaring ceiling and a large window for a feeling of ease and light. With a capacity of 40 people, the space is well-suited to business meetings. Peppered with interesting design elements like Dutch artist Claudy Jongstra’s delicate felt wall and the extraordinary Sunlight lamp by Rolf Engelen. Room 422 never bores. This room can be combined with rooms 412 or 410 to accommodate breakout sessions. Room 422 is 49 m².

THE PIANO ROOM (221) The Piano Room is a true original, doubling up

as both a hotel suite and a meeting space.

Designed by acclaimed Dutch artist/designer

Joep Van Lieshout, the room’s spiralling red

staircase and high-volume ceiling is perfect

for creative inspiration for groups of up to 25

people. The piano room is 91 m².

Alicia Keys once tinkled on our Estonian

grand piano, if the mood takes you, do the

THE MUSIC ROOM (222)

One of our most inspiring and unconventional

room: the rugged Music Room. It is tailormade for

visiting musicans or lively brainstorms wit hits

soundproofed walling. Fitted with a 7-person bed,

designed by acclaimed Dutch designer and artist

Joep van Lieshout, this room celebrates orginal

ideas. The music room is 47 m².

TOWER ROOMS (210 – 410 – 412 - 510)

Perhaps the most surprising of our meeting

spaces, some of our largest guest rooms

have character to spare. No matter your

purpose, these rooms inspire off-the-wall

thinking and meetings far from the everyday.

Be transported back to the early days of the

Lloyd in the Tower Rooms, complete with

period cabinets and medicine bottles. A

Tower Room is approximately 27 m².

Room 124 A large room with a special bathroom by

designer Joep van Lieshout. The room has

many extraordinary details like a carpet of

Dutch designer INA, the Milk bottles lamp

and golden lamps designed by Wannes

Royaards. This meeting room is suitable for

up to 30 people and is 34 m².

PLATFORMS Boasting views that stretch as far as the river Amstel, the four

mezzanine platforms appear to float over the restaurant far

below. Bathed in light from the stories-tall windows and the pure

white floors, the platform spaces encourage freeform thinking

and creative meetings. The platforms can be used individually

or in combination, and are ideal for drinks, presentations,

temporary exhibitions, and break-out sessions. The 4th floor

platform houses our intimate art and design library. With leather

armchairs and a convenient desk, the library can host small

cocktail parties or business meetings. A platform is

approximately 44m².

LlOYD RESTAURANT The restaurant has a dynamic, bustling atmosphere catering for hotel

guests, those living in the neighbourhood, artists and business people

alike. Set in the extraordinary open space on the ground floor, it features

an extensive menu of classic European cuisine.

Our food is prepared in our own kitchen, with meat and fish from sustainable sources and preferably organic vegetables, cultivated as close to home as possible. We are proud of our suppliers and we know them well. We combine classic dishes and methods of preparation with new influences and cooking techniques. With a fresh eye and vintage recipes we make contemporary dishes which may perhaps surprise you but which certainly will taste good.

The restaurant is suitable for breakfast, lunch, dinner, for large and

small groups. It is possible to organize private dinners or events in the

restaurant.

CULTURAL EMBASSY

Constantly adapting to the flux of geo-travelers and the input of cultural

counterparts, the Cultural Embassy is present throughout the building. We host and

initiate cultural events, introduce people to one another and give them the lowdown

on Amsterdam cultural life. Cultural organizations can become members of the

Cultural Embassy by invitation. The membership is meant for non-profit

organizations in arts, culture, media and science.
