• At P3 , focus on building pupils’ confidence and competency

• Move away from bite-sized assessment in P1 & P2 • Emphasis on formative assessments within lesson • Assessment Plan given to parents termly – both

weighted and non-weighted tests included • Assessment tasks filed in Pupils Portfolio (black file).

Portfolio returned to parents termly for acknowledgment.

Paper 1 (Writing) Pupils are required to: • Write at least in a continuous prose ML – 80 words CL – 80 words TL – 40 words • Weave a story from a series of 4 pictures. • May use the helping words given for each pictures to help

them sequence their story. • Use grammar, punctuation and vocabulary appropriately.

• Video conversation – Students are required to converse effectively with grammatical accuracy based on a video clip. Students may elaborate by giving examples, share their opinions, thoughts and personal experience.
