Meet Resident Pat Peterman

Pat Peterman is one of our quiet residents whose smile we

enjoy. Her husband, Wesley, now deceased, lived at this

home years ago. She has five children, ten grandchildren and

fourteen great-grandchildren. Pat attended Smithville Schools

and then lived in Rittman where she worked at the Rittman

Press for nine years and Packaging Corp of America for seven-

teen years. Pat has an owl collection and a large collection of

perfume bottles. Her favorite activity here at our home is

“Game time with the Leavitts” on Fridays. She sang in the

Presbyterian Church choir and played in the bell choir. She

enjoys watching sporting events—especially the

Indians. The next time you see Pat sitting by the fish

aquarium, give her a friendly wave, and she’ll probably wave

back.

If we ever forget that we are

‘One Nation Under God’,

then we will be a nation

gone under.

husband, Dan, an electrician, have three sons who are each

married. Her oldest son and his wife are missionaries in

Africa at an orphanage. Spending time babysitting her only

grandson brings her joy. She attends Reimer Road Baptist

Church. Debbie collects Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls because

her husband’s great-great grandfather’s brother is the

creator of these cute red haired rag dolls! We are glad that
