SPV and OPV • Most Homes have unused (open) and in many cases flat roof-tops, so either state
works
• Roof-tops are ideal location for SPV panels
• Inverters and Switches plus blue-tooth connectivity allow for these to be placed at the MPOE (main point of entry), and take up small spaces – could be wall mount
• Many racking systems do not puncture the roof and instead add to the integrity thereof and cut-off all solar radiation damage to roof top materials, thereby extending life
• Organic Photovoltaic (“OPV”) are nano-particle based cells and can be presented in flexible and thin materials and in many cases can be adhered or sprayed to the current panel schemes
• SPV prices have plummeted and large unused manufacturing capacity exists across the Globe, especially in China
• Remarkable improvements in glass refracting surfaces, dual surfaces to augment productivity can be observed from the latest evolutions from various R&D labs – thus both sides of the panels can receive refraction and reflection to yield power, pushing power yields rapidly forward in an analog of Moore’s law
• Panel weights dropping rapidly and power production per panel is improving rapidly
