If an employee is exposed or likely to beexposed to chemicals hazardous to healthlisted in Schedule II, and is engaged in aprocess specified therein, the HS requiredunder sub-regulation (1) shall include MSconducted by OHD at intervals of not morethan 12 months or at such shorter intervalsas determined by the OHD or an SHO who isalso a GP.

Assist in Implementation of OccupationalHealth Program in the workplace. Assist in the management of Occupational

Diseases & Poisoning including removal fromwork, treatment, rehabilitation, disability

assessment, return to work and / orcompensation.

Reinforce the value ofeducation/ training inOccupational Health to both employer andemployee.

Assist in Audit / Evaluation of OccupationalHealth Program in the workplace.

Appoint an Occupational Health Doctor,(OHD) to conduct occupational medicalsurveillance program.

Allow and assist the OHD to visit theworkplace to investigate and manageoccupational disease and poisoning includingaccess to relevant monitoring and otherhealth related data.

Co-operate with the OHD in medical removalprotection of the worker.
